Think the missus is coming down, and since it's a four and a half hour drive from deepest darkest North Yorkshire to Reading I doubt she'll be keen on driving a couple of hours back up to watch some 6-a-side matches with people she hasn't met while I sit and drink myself merry

I would do that, but I'm going out in Sheffield on Thursday night (going to visit some call centres during the day, staying at the Hilton on the company expenses at night ) and have to make it back to work in Reading for about midday on Friday. She's joining me in Sheffield and then coming down to Reading on the Friday with me and exploiting my dirt cheap internet and tv while I work. Don't think she'd then be too keen on driving a couple of hours to Leicester to watch me possibly play 6-a-side after travelling all that way down to Reading in the first place. Selfish of her, to be honest. Why wouldn't she want to sit around and watch people she's never met play 6-a-side while I get drunk? I think I need to sort her out.
