Foxes' owner Milan Mandaric was said to be lining up an official approach for Grayson, who has impressed in his spell at Bloomfield Road. Grayson is a former Leicester player and still has business interests in the area. Leicester are looking for a new boss after the departure of Ian Holloway following relegation to League One. There is talk of a story running in the Lancashire Evening Post but I can't find any mention of it on their website.

Monk Posted 4 June 2008 Posted 4 June 2008 I'd prefer Grayson to Ince. I don't care if that means I have tunnel vision. This club need its passion back and we need bread and butter football. He'd be HUGELY popular. If I was Ince I'd be waiting for a better offer than LCFC.

Doesn't mean it's not true. According to reports, we've only made an approach to Blackpool to request permission to speak to Grayson which could happen when he gets back from his holiday. I'd love to have Grayson but whether he'd be prepared to step down a division is another story. I'd prefer him over Gregory any day of the week.
