Talksport were discussing the interest we showed in Ince and said he was right to knock us back because...we are "a managerial cul-de-sac".

Tis true.

I've got an almost certain gut feeling that one of Milan's remaining two candidates is Gregory unfortunately. At the same time I'm sure the other is not Grayson.

Joe Royle perhaps? Mike Newell? (please, please, please), Worthington? Even Sanchez? All realistic hopes. But god knows now.

Not much good if you're an atheist :P

I'm assuming the 16 half-wits who have voted for Gregory are the Forest & Derby scum that lurk on here sometimes....

And it really shows what people will be thinking of us from outside of Leicester. Whether or not Mandaric has been right or wrong to sack managers in the past, we've come to a point where we will be ending up with second rate managers. Which is exactly what Gregory is.

I think this is Milan's most important appointment of the all so far. If he gets it wrong now, we'll be looking for a manager half way through a league 1 campagin, leaving us at risk of a complete meltdown in mentality.

I'm praying he gets it right for us this time, but as other people have said, we can't be sure of anything.

Or not as the topic is 'who you think will be the manager' NOT 'who you want' :dunno:

Does that make you the half-wit :P

I hope theres an announcement soon, I don't like this uncertainty. Please don't let it be Gregory.

I think I'd prefer the uncertainty to Gregory.

If SSN are saying it's down to 2 then I reckon its 2 from Worthington, Gregory or Pearson.

Agree.

Haven't voted yet - can't press the JG button. Of the list & names preference is for Steve McLaren. Not sure Larry or Billy will come so having to settle... that's what we have come to :frusty:

Has anyone heard him on Five Live recently? Am trying to work out if he is still out there or waiting for his big unveiling.........

It's who you think it'll be, not who you want. If it was who you want then Mourinho, Wenger, Ferguson, Paisley and Shankly would be topping the lists.

As for Bryan Robson being an ambassador for Man United, there's no way he'd say no to another managerial role in preference to staying as a talking statue at Old Trafford. Charlton, Law and co do enough as ambassadors for United. Anyway, accepting a role like that just confirms you're not good enough to be a manager and you've accepted life with the stiffs.

I've not read all 60 odd posts, but this is the current situation:

Milan Mandaric wants John Gregory to become his new manager. John Gregory is unsure about accepting because he thinks the deal could be bad for both of them, should a couple of results go the wrong way. It's now up to Milan as to wether he tries and persuades him to come.

How do you know this please?

Lets hope he doesn't bother.

If true JG's attitude is far too positive for us....only worried about a couple of results then!!!

Is JG on Foxestalk then & picked up on the warm welcome we will give him????
