Noel Edmonds Posted 17 June 2008 Posted 17 June 2008 Recently found a scratched up Sony Ericsson K660i phone last week, picked it up and took it home because im a scrounger obviously. It had no SIM in the phone and when I tried to put my current 02 sim from my K750i it comes up with "Insert Correct SIM Card" on the screen. Is this problem only due to the fact that it is a T-Mobile branded phone or is it something else, and will it therefore work if I was to get my hands on another T-Mobile pay as you go SIM card???

You need to unlock the phone.
Katy Posted 17 June 2008 Posted 17 June 2008 Or maybe it had already been reported as lost. Or it is just as you say.
Tommy G Posted 17 June 2008 Posted 17 June 2008 Moral of the story - Dont pick phones up off the floor.
Daggers Posted 17 June 2008 Posted 17 June 2008 Other moral of the story - pick the phone off the floor but hand it in to a police station because the owner may have reported it lost and wants it back
andyh1884 Posted 17 June 2008 Posted 17 June 2008 Moral of the story - Dont pick phones up off the floor. Why? Usually there's a moral to a story when someone's suffered as a result of their actions. In this case it's just that it doesn't work at present, no harm done. Get it unlocked and they have a free phone. Moral of the story - think before you post
blue blood Posted 17 June 2008 Posted 17 June 2008 moral of the story imagine there is a goal in front of the phone and have a shot to see if you can score in your imaginary goal
Tommy G Posted 17 June 2008 Posted 17 June 2008 Moral of the story stop areguing about what moral actually means? It was said tongue in cheek.
