demon_dog Posted 18 June 2008 Posted 18 June 2008 So, hopefully come the weekend we'll have the new manager, how would you set about assessing the situation? 1. Watch every single video of last season's games. 2. Decide who is worth selling / keeping. 3. Where possible get an assessment of the youth squad, vow to see all of them when they return for training. 4. Decide which if any of the youth squad could be promoted to the first team. 5. Identify areas within the squad that require urgent attention, compile a must buy list. 6. Lock MM in a broom cupboard while transfer season is open. 7. Please add/ amend as you see fit. Last post is on Friday night, will then forward to the new manager for immediate attention.

davieG Posted 18 June 2008 Posted 18 June 2008 Tell MM to go fook himself, go on holiday and enjoy his undoubted compensation package which will arrive sooner rather than later and let Mandaric do what he wants to do without interference from the Manager. I suspect this is what happened to Allen.
Jonbluefox9 Posted 18 June 2008 Posted 18 June 2008 I would advise our new manager to not bother watching videos of last season. We're in a different league now, forget what happened last season. Sit down with each player and find out who really wants to be here and who doesn't. Those not up for the fight, get rid asap and add people who really want to be a part of the club. Don't bring players in for the sake of it. Start to build an atmosphere within the club where everyone feels a part of what's happening and where everyone has pride in their performance.
Daggers Posted 18 June 2008 Posted 18 June 2008 He needs to find out how many people are comfortable playing right-back, see how many right-backs we can play on the left-wing and ensure that the potentially leading scorer of the season is either played in midfield or sold. Job done.

Now you're just being silly, that's crazy talk, whoever heard of anything so outrageously stupid.
