  1. 1. What's your initial reaction to the new manager?

    • Hot and bothered, really excited, he'll take us places.

    • Luke warm, a bit of drizzle. More of the same.

    • Completely wrong choice, another relegation fight looks likely with him.

    • Apathy. Wait and see policy. Not bothered who city appoint anymore.

Way too early to tell.

Let's see first what team he picks for the opening games and how well they do.

obviously its not a dream appointment but strangely enough , i'm feeling quite good about it

but i never at any stage felt good about holloway so its a big plus for me

Initial thoughts? I think we could and should have done better.

However, I'm not going to judge him yet. He deserves the time to sort the squad out and have at least half the season to try and get us back up. I wish him luck- he's going to need it.

how is it too early for an "initial reaction" :dunno: you only get those immediately :P

We are a third division club so anyone with a much higher profile was simply a pipe dream, the guys in now so lets wish him all the best and as ever, time will tell

This will be the first chance Pearson has had to build his own team, as opposed to inheriting someone else's.

There is plenty of quality (at least for this league) within the squad. But whether Pearson is the one who can organise and motivate the current crop of players into a force capable of fighting for promotion will only be revealed by results.

We shouldn't prejudge him one way or the other at this stage.

The manager has no real track record.

He's fought and won a couple of relegation battles while effectively acting as a caretaker, but those circumstances shouldn't apply here.

 What worries me though would be a lack of experience as a permananet boss. He seems to have been caretaker or assisstant just about everywhere.

Everyone has to start somewhere though I suppose.

Slightly underwhelmed at first, but growing more positive about the decision. What strikes me about Pearson is he doesn't seem the type to make bold predictions, the talking will be done on the pitch. We won't have any media quips either.

And the apathy settles in...

Not overwhelmed by any means, but he's not as bad as some people make out. He's steady away, it's not like we can get any world beaters.

i always back the manager whoever it is, even if it was gregory but im ok with this appointment to be honest we have no idea of how dire some of the other candidates could of been so we shall see but i wuld just like to place on record im kind of happy (although on poll did choose couldnt care lol) with the appointment but at the minute im not sure what to believe, you see other teams appoint shockers and do well and vice-versa so we shall see!

This is exactly the short term nonsense that got us where we are today. Half a season? Half? How can we get up in half a season? It takes a Full season in a anyones money to get promoted. But you plan to start moaning halfway through. Brilliant.

He looks like an arsehole, sounds like an arsehole and I bet his tactics are arsehole worthy too. Not happy.

are you one of the 3 that voted hot and bothered :giggle:

All of which are brilliant skills when dealing with the bunch of arseholes in the current playing squad, Result.

EDIT: And I forgot about the one in charge.

I feel neither excited nor gutted about the appointment. At the end of the day the guy deserves a chance to prove himself, so anyone on his back already is a complete wally brain. Lets get behind him and show some support to the club that we love, no matter how much pain we go through supporting it!!

We'll see. I really don't like the look of him tbh, he was assistant at Newcastle and and always came out with the same shit every week when Allardyce wouldn't do the interviews. He does seem like the type to tell people to shut the **** up if they get mouthy which is something Holloway I don't think would do. So yeah, we'll see.

Where's the options between "Greatest thing ever" and "Meh"? :dunno:

Seems to me the poll is slightly skewed towards the miserable, the negative and the short-sighted.

And...?

We're Leicester fans aren't we?
