Daggers Posted 29 December 2008 Posted 29 December 2008 I want snake blood vodka and I want it on Saturday.
Guest Bilo Posted 29 December 2008 Posted 29 December 2008 That Stars and Stripes bike was just crazy. If someone had told me I had to ride that thing through Vietnam I'd ask them to swap it for an Abrams tank. Safer see.
Alexikokopops Posted 30 December 2008 Posted 30 December 2008 Yeah, I'm looking forward to this - I hope they don't screw it up with attempts at over acting and scripted dialogue like some parts of the rest of the present series as some of it has just come over as a little, false. Like that bit where Hammond repaired the galleon only to lift it up into the fan on the roof. Overall though I enjoyed it. It's just furthered my desire to go to south east Asia though.
Hawkers Posted 30 December 2008 Posted 30 December 2008 i actually did a similar thing last year, but about half the distance and over five days. the bike i did it on was very similar to may's but a bit more powerful. The scenery in the mountains is sublime, watching this made me wanna go back so much
hebangsthedrums Posted 30 December 2008 Posted 30 December 2008 I love cars but don't really like Top Gear as its gradually become the Clarkson & co show. Enjoyed the bike one but found the American Bike skit a bit distasteful (and staged no doubt)
purpleronnie Posted 30 December 2008 Posted 30 December 2008 Read in the paper the JC had already learnt to ride a sccoter before the vietnam show and then prentended he didnt know how to ride in the show, I hate all the scripted fake stuff but I still watch it.

Some of the programme is scripted for comedic effect.
Edmund Posted 8 February 2009 Posted 8 February 2009 The Whole of the programme is scripted for comedic effect. Edited
