She’s got age on her side, but I’m starting to think Raducanu just took advantage of a random era, Sofia Kenin and Bianca Andreescu did the same.

Too many injuries and lack of consistency in her career.

Her conditioning has definitely held her back over the years, but the Women’s game is in a much stronger place now than it was in 2021.

 

Of those at the top of the game right now, Swiatek was the only one to have a grand slam under her belt at the time Raducanu won the US.

She had one good tournament. That will be her lot. 

 

It goes - Injuries, failure, more sponsorship, can't be bothered, failed comeback, retirement.
