Just Met Holloway!

It seems Holloway is still about. I literally just popped into Loughborough's town centre (about 15 mins ago at time of posting) and went into Wilko's for something.

I'm looking at something on the shelf and turn round to see Ian Holloway walking past. I continue to shop and see him a few more times. Then on the 4th time I walk the aisle past his wife, place my hand on his shoulder and say:

"Don't worry mate - it was Mad Mandaric's fault" he replies:

"Aw right cheers mate"

Very odd. Of course I didn't fully mean it. The relegation was due to the combined failures of Mandaric and Holloway, but I didn't have the heart or the right to grill the small little gollum like man.

I bet Andy Serkis gets really fed up of people doing that to him

on a side note, did anyone else hear Serkis comment on a tennis match in Gollum's voice on Radio 5 today. Surreal and very funny! :giggle:

He shouldn't have to fear for his safety. He may have let our fans down, but he doesn't deserve to be attacked for it.

You should have asked him why, Mandarin backed him all the way, he should have atleast held his hands up and admit to some of the blame!!

I'm pretty sure he lives in loughborough - in the new estate near woodthorpe

Yes he does!

My mates from Barrow and see's him in pubs in the village and out in Loughborough sometimes.

He's ok for cash, got over 2 years wages left from Mandaric to spend.

All the times I've seen / talked to Andy Serkis, I can't say I've ever... ever seen anyone have the balls to actually do a gollum impression.

That said, when he walks away someone usually comes up to you and goes "... was that... who I THINK that was?" and then does a stupid gollum impression to you thinking it's hillarious.

Never said he did deserve to be attacked im just saying you know what some people are like. Some idiot might try and attack him i never would but you know what i mean?

Not really much point in him moving when he doesn't know where his next job will be located. If he did he could end up moving to London or something then end up getting a job up north somewhere a couple of weeks later.

I am angry at the man too...

But i will let him get on with things, we have Pearson to back now.... Ollie will get his stick, no doubt about it but i dont think he deserves to be attacked in public (if anyone was that silly)

Life goes on...

Oh yeah, I know what you meant, and most normal people wouldn't do that, but someone could.

yea mu sister saw him in town the other week. it was prob a surreal moment for you. i doubt he will move to another city uprooting his family in the process just to move again if/when he gets another job. i think the thanks for the league 1 pub crawl would have been the best comment to make.
