Anyone else read Creed's blog "Creed thoughts" on the NBC site? Some of them are fucking brilliant.

Right, just time to indulge in the first episode of series five before bed I think. :)

Just watched episode 9 from the new series. Best of the series so far I thought, not been the best of series so far to be honest though. Still one of the best shows around though.

Both parts of Niagra had me in stitches. Loved it.

Just watching a double bill on ITV4. Do people seriously think this is better than the UK version? :dunno:

It's different. Not sure I'd say it's better but the US Office has a number of original characters that have a allowed it to develop as a stand alone series rather than just remain a carbon copy of the UK version.

BARGAIN ALERT!

Seasons 1,2 and 3 box set in Asda for just £10! Just bought it now even though I've seen them each episode at least 3 times already!

Just looked on the Asda website, and that is strange. I don't understand why they would have a totally different price in store. I hope it's not just the Oadby store that's doing in for a tenner.

Ricky Gervais has confirmed that David Brent will make an appearance in the US version of The Office.

The 48-year-old comedian told The Sun that his character will clash with Steve Carell's Michael Scott when he pops up in the show.

"I think it would be funny for David Brent to walk into the US Office and hear them go 'Oh my God, there's two of them!'," he said. "We don't need to know about Brent's back story - the English office exists in a cocoon.

"Michael Scott could just bump into Brent who is a bloke from England."

Gervais added that Brent is likely to be the only character from the UK version making his way over to America.

"I don't think we'll take any of the other UK characters over - we'll probably leave it with just me as it's just too complicated."
