Daggers Posted 26 October 2009 Author Posted 26 October 2009 "R" is the most dangerous of sounds...that's why they call it 'murder' and not 'mucduc'.
Fosse Boy Posted 27 October 2009 Posted 27 October 2009 Anyone else read Creed's blog "Creed thoughts" on the NBC site? Some of them are fucking brilliant. Right, just time to indulge in the first episode of series five before bed I think.
Simi Posted 13 November 2009 Posted 13 November 2009 Just watched episode 9 from the new series. Best of the series so far I thought, not been the best of series so far to be honest though. Still one of the best shows around though.

Webbo Posted 24 November 2009 Posted 24 November 2009 Just watching a double bill on ITV4. Do people seriously think this is better than the UK version?
Fosse Boy Posted 24 November 2009 Posted 24 November 2009 Just watching a double bill on ITV4. Do people seriously think this is better than the UK version? It's different. Not sure I'd say it's better but the US Office has a number of original characters that have a allowed it to develop as a stand alone series rather than just remain a carbon copy of the UK version.
Fosse Boy Posted 27 November 2009 Posted 27 November 2009  Classic Dwight. Love it. One of my favourite scenes... "You my friend, would be da belle of da ball."

Samu Posted 31 December 2009 Posted 31 December 2009 I went into the Asda in Oadby tonight and it was £10! Can't believe how cheap it was! Just looked on the Asda website, and that is strange. I don't understand why they would have a totally different price in store. I hope it's not just the Oadby store that's doing in for a tenner.
Edmund Posted 17 February 2010 Posted 17 February 2010 Ricky Gervais has confirmed that David Brent will make an appearance in the US version of The Office. The 48-year-old comedian told The Sun that his character will clash with Steve Carell's Michael Scott when he pops up in the show. "I think it would be funny for David Brent to walk into the US Office and hear them go 'Oh my God, there's two of them!'," he said. "We don't need to know about Brent's back story - the English office exists in a cocoon. "Michael Scott could just bump into Brent who is a bloke from England." Gervais added that Brent is likely to be the only character from the UK version making his way over to America. "I don't think we'll take any of the other UK characters over - we'll probably leave it with just me as it's just too complicated."
sdb Posted 17 February 2010 Posted 17 February 2010 hmmmmm. that could be very good or very shit. Gervais would've laughed at the idea a few years ago.
rico Posted 17 February 2010 Posted 17 February 2010 does anybody know if any of the series that haven't been on itv4 / comedy central are going to be shown?
Samilktray Posted 17 February 2010 Posted 17 February 2010 Really struggled to get into the American version whenever I've tried watching it, enjoy the English 1 alot though.
