The People's Hero Posted 27 August 2008 Author Posted 27 August 2008 Balance at the crease I was a few beers in unfortunately. It was a bloody good shot actually. I just ambled the run and got embarrassed by a direct hit.

SOCCERROO FOX Posted 28 August 2008 Posted 28 August 2008 Have you ever heard of Dominic Cork? Have you? What a pace bowling line up you guys had, Mullaly, Malcom, Fraser and Cork just brilliant for the opposition
The People's Hero Posted 28 August 2008 Author Posted 28 August 2008 What a pace bowling line up you guys had, Mullaly, Malcom, Fraser and Cork just brilliant for the opposition I had the opportunity to play against Alan Mullally not so long ago, only didn't realise it and turned it down. He was opening the batting for Lashings! Their entire XI has played test cricket at some point. My mate got bowled by John Emburey in the same match. What an honour!
Flynny Posted 28 August 2008 Posted 28 August 2008 Thrown, surely? Keep an eye out for Chandler, no doubt he'll confirm my suspiscions shortly.
Corky Posted 28 August 2008 Posted 28 August 2008 What a pace bowling line up you guys had, Mullaly, Malcom, Fraser and Cork just brilliant for the opposition What about Shane Watson? Still scared of ghosts is he?
SOCCERROO FOX Posted 29 August 2008 Posted 29 August 2008 What about Shane Watson? Still scared of ghosts is he? I hope he gets really scared one day and dissappears never to be seen again, that would be better than winning the Ashes.........again
RowlattsFox Posted 29 August 2008 Posted 29 August 2008 We've started well again today, 109-1. Prior the man out, Bell on 62.
purpleronnie Posted 31 August 2008 Posted 31 August 2008 Another win. Flintoff is on fire at the moment. If we win the next one we'll be ranked 2nd in the world.
Uncle Albert Posted 31 August 2008 Posted 31 August 2008 Another win. Flintoff is on fire at the moment. If we win the next one we'll be ranked 2nd in the world. IF is a very big word when associating it with England in any sport.

The Lashings are quality , i watched Chris Cairns hit 4 6s on the bounce against Snape few years ago
purpleronnie Posted 31 August 2008 Posted 31 August 2008 IF is a very big word when associating it with England in any sport. I know, but at least the opportunity is there.
Brainy Posted 31 August 2008 Posted 31 August 2008 IF is a very big word when associating it with England in any sport. Well we've won the last four, so it's looking good.
SamL Posted 31 August 2008 Posted 31 August 2008 Another good win by England and another good performance by Flintoff, who seems to be on fire at the moment. We're 4-0 up but the job isn't done yet, 5-0 would be even better. Are we up to 2nd now, or do we have to win on Wednesday as well?

SamL Posted 31 August 2008 Posted 31 August 2008 Has to be 5-0 to go up to 2nd It would be a big feat if we could do it. We seem to have instilled a winning mentality at the moment and long may it continue. However, South Africa are a very plucky side who could come back into it at any time.

Milky Posted 31 August 2008 Posted 31 August 2008 I know, but at least the opportunity is there. Please tell me you've lost lots of money on this series?
