LewisOB Posted 17 July 2008 Posted 17 July 2008 I can't seem to make a topic in the Leicester City forum (probably becuase I havent posted yet), but I really only registered to ask the good people of the webiste a Leicester City related question for an article I'm writing? I need to find out the number of different players we've had play for us in the last 2,3,4,5 or however many years. Where could I find this information? I remember Gary Silke having an article in the Mercury last season (I think) where he revealed we had 105 (or something) players in the last 5 years. I need some updated figures if anybody could help me out? Cheers.
lookwhaticando Posted 17 July 2008 Posted 17 July 2008 I've moved your topic to said forum, hopefully someone around these parts will have some numbers for you.
Fez of Mahrez Posted 17 July 2008 Posted 17 July 2008 http://www.football-league.co.uk/page/Divi...,,10794,00.html You can go back through the years and select Players Used on the tab at the top. Of course some players will be duplicated. Otherwise I supposed you'd just have to trawl through the appearance stats from somewhere. Actually that link is garbage. Someone else will have a better one. I got excited at being useful then. Balls.

Asha Posted 17 July 2008 Posted 17 July 2008 We've had 77 different scorers since the start of the 2000/01 season, if that helps?
James. Posted 17 July 2008 Posted 17 July 2008 Is this achievable solely through the combined knowledge of Foxestalk members?
Father Ted Posted 17 July 2008 Posted 17 July 2008 Why can't i start a new topic on here?! You need 5 or 10 posts (can't remember which one) to stop spammers.
Monk Posted 17 July 2008 Posted 17 July 2008 I've just done a 4 season search on http://allfootballers.com and I've come up with 111, though how many could actually qualify as players is debatable... Rodders Posted 17 July 2008 Posted 17 July 2008 That's fantastic. Thanks a lot mate. Make that 110 - only one Mo(mo) Sylla played for us!
ThorpeAstleyFox Posted 17 July 2008 Posted 17 July 2008 Make that 110 - only one Mo(mo) Sylla played for us! 109 - Jamie and James Scowcroft are surely one and the same! There are also 4 players on there who I've never even heard of!!!
Daggers Posted 17 July 2008 Posted 17 July 2008 I'm convinced Luigi Glombard never played for us apart from in the reserves...am I wrong?
Wooly Posted 17 July 2008 Posted 17 July 2008 Walker Sinclair N'Gotty Keown Johansson Gillespie Izzet Hendrie Tiatto Dublin Ferdinand Pressman, Dabizas, Freund, Wilcox, Cadamatari That would have been a mean side in 1999.
Scow Posted 17 July 2008 Posted 17 July 2008 I'm convinced Luigi Glombard never played for us apart from in the reserves...am I wrong? I think he came on as a sub against Ipswich away in 2007?
NewquayFox Posted 17 July 2008 Posted 17 July 2008 Dion was so good he got in Wooly`s team and on his bench. ;0)

Bert Posted 18 July 2008 Posted 18 July 2008 My word...Henderson, Maybury, Kisnorbo ©, McAuley, Johansson, Yeates (Glombard 82), Johnson, Jarrett, Porter, Hume (Hammond 79), Horsfield (Kenton 90)...how did we win? Well we scored more than them.
Daggers Posted 18 July 2008 Posted 18 July 2008 Well we scored more than them. Ahh, that'll be it then.
Scow Posted 19 July 2008 Posted 19 July 2008 Jim Magilton thought McAuley was a good player on the back of that game.
