No real clues - that's everyone isn't it?!
Ric Flair Posted 29 July 2008 Posted 29 July 2008 Good to see Andy King and Odihambo being included. Would rather Sappleton be involved than Odihambo personally.
mmarkie Posted 29 July 2008 Author Posted 29 July 2008 I think it will be: Henderson Gilbert Hobbs Tunchev Mattock Adams Oakley© Wesolowski Dyer Howard Campbell
Tommy G Posted 29 July 2008 Posted 29 July 2008 I think it will be: Henderson Gilbert Hobbs Tunchev Mattock Adams Oakley© Wesolowski Dyer Howard Campbell Has Tunchev got a work permit though?
mmarkie Posted 29 July 2008 Author Posted 29 July 2008 Has Tunchev got a work permit though? Yes he has got his clearance now
Tommy G Posted 29 July 2008 Posted 29 July 2008 Yes he has got his clearance now I've heard on Sky Sports news that it will be put on hold for another 24 hours because Birmingham have kicked off about it, looks like you won't be seeing him after all!
billyfox1 Posted 29 July 2008 Posted 29 July 2008 I've heard on Sky Sports news that it will be put on hold for another 24 hours because Birmingham have kicked off about it, looks like you won't be seeing him after all! Please tell me it's true. Not good for city, but fantastic for the forum

Phlashman Posted 29 July 2008 Posted 29 July 2008 I can't wait to just see some live football again! Also it's my little sisters first ever game, I suppose with 4 older brothers all city fans that was inevitable.
NatJPeters Posted 29 July 2008 Posted 29 July 2008 Brum fan here-I'm looking forward to tonight. I'll be up there.
clazkel Posted 29 July 2008 Posted 29 July 2008 Would rather Sappleton be involved than Odihambo personally. Would rather Sappleton than Howard or DJ
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 29 July 2008 Posted 29 July 2008 Having seen the squad my preference would be: Hendo Gilbert Hobbs Tunchev Mattock Gradel Adams Weso Dyer Fryatt DJ
Thracian Posted 29 July 2008 Posted 29 July 2008 Our squad:City squad: Henderson, Logan; Gilbert, Morrison, Tunchev, Mattock, Adams, Oakley, Wesolowski, Dyer, Howard, Fryatt, Campbell, Hayles, N'Gotty, Worley, Hobbs, Gradel, Kishishev, Porter, J Chambers, A Chambers, A King, Odihambo. Not too many numpty's and no-hopers among that lot - I'm encouraged.
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 29 July 2008 Posted 29 July 2008 Not too many numpty's and no-hopers among that lot - I'm encouraged. The good thing about the squad at the minute is that there are so many questions being posed. Competition for places is rife, and, unlike last season, players won't be playing out of position if they are drafted into the squad, because there is more than enough cover.

It sure beats the choices of yesteryear, like Hughes or Jarratt, Newton or Newton, Sylla, Low or Maybury. When you dwell on that it's like reflecting on a football horror story.
