billyfox1 Posted 7 August 2008 Posted 7 August 2008 it doesn't seem too different to what any other bookies have. http://bettingzone.oddschecker.com/footbal...ue-1/win-market
Daggers Posted 7 August 2008 Posted 7 August 2008 We were quoted at those odds last season at one point too.
Kilworthfox Posted 7 August 2008 Author Posted 7 August 2008 it doesn't seem too different to what any other bookies have.http://bettingzone.oddschecker.com/footbal...ue-1/win-market Pretty good odds for us at 5's IMO! My have some on this
Daggers Posted 7 August 2008 Posted 7 August 2008 Pretty good odds for us at 5's IMO! My have some on this Fives for Champions seems rather tight - for promotion fair enough but not for coming first.
Kilworthfox Posted 7 August 2008 Author Posted 7 August 2008 I am rather tight - for promotion fair enough but not for coming first.
Daggers Posted 7 August 2008 Posted 7 August 2008 Not after last night's Thai Red curry - tight is the one thing I am not.
Kilworthfox Posted 7 August 2008 Author Posted 7 August 2008 Not after last night's Thai Red curry - tight is the one thing I am not. ohhhh Matron
Thracian Posted 7 August 2008 Posted 7 August 2008 5-1 with our defence! The size and optimism of our fanbase will have dictated the short odds rather than any great inside knowledge. They're not odds that would tempt me to go beyond a token bet.
Cheese Me Posted 7 August 2008 Posted 7 August 2008 Anyone actually seen any odds for promotion? I'd assume we'd be around the evens to 6/4 mark????
billyfox1 Posted 7 August 2008 Posted 7 August 2008 Anyone actually seen any odds for promotion?I'd assume we'd be around the evens to 6/4 mark???? was that just a guess? http://bettingzone.oddschecker.com/footbal...gue-1/promotion
Cheese Me Posted 7 August 2008 Posted 7 August 2008 was that just a guess?http://bettingzone.oddschecker.com/footbal...gue-1/promotion Yes it was but pretty chuffed with my guessing Kind of makes sense though, I wouldn't expect us to be any longer than that. Not really worth throwing money at short odds unless you're prepared to bet a big amount (I'm not).
Tommy G Posted 7 August 2008 Posted 7 August 2008 I wish to put £2 bet on at the weekend for a leicester win, could I get odds for that?
Cheese Me Posted 7 August 2008 Posted 7 August 2008 I wish to put £2 bet on at the weekend for a leicester win, could I get odds for that? Of course, pretty much any bookie anywhere will have a coupon with all the league games on it, you just look for Leicester V MK Dons and choose home win. Odds will be pretty tight though, almost certainly be odds on or thereabouts so your £2 bet will probably only win you £1.50 - £2.00 (plus you'll get your stake back so in effect turn £2 into say £3.75).
thybluefox Posted 7 August 2008 Posted 7 August 2008 Paddy power are doing us to win 2 - 0 in sat at 15/2. Had a tasty £4 on it.

LENNY GLOVER Posted 9 August 2008 Posted 9 August 2008 just done it £100 at 6/1 to win league, could regret this at 4.50
Tubes Posted 9 August 2008 Posted 9 August 2008 My dad has put £20 on us to take the league at Ladbrokes, and they gave him 7/1 using the odds on card.
Joe. Posted 9 August 2008 Posted 9 August 2008 I have decided not to bet on anything Leicester wise this season. Far too unpredictable for my liking...

LeeCovFox Posted 9 August 2008 Posted 9 August 2008 for calling them by their true name. MK Dons have no right to the name Wimbledon. Wimbledon play in the Blue Square South, have history, tradition, and were robbed of their rightful place in the Football League. However Kilworth is correct, that should be Wimbledon in that league.
