Ric Flair Posted 13 August 2008 Posted 13 August 2008 Anyone got an idea exactly how long he is out for? The club have been pretty fookin lazy in letting the fans know what's happening with him. We were told at the end of last season that his operation would keep him out for a couple of months, but that he'd be back for pre-season. Has he even got the same injury as the one he had operated on?

Didn't someone mention that the reason the club didn't tell us loads about injuries is becauset hey didn't want other clubs knowing about them?
Ric Flair Posted 13 August 2008 Author Posted 13 August 2008 Didn't someone mention that the reason the club didn't tell us loads about injuries is becauset hey didn't want other clubs knowing about them? Possibly. But they've had interviews with Kisnorbo since his injury and they have also given us some details on Mattock's injury. But Clemence there's been pretty much bugger all. They don't even mention him in match previews.
Tabou Posted 13 August 2008 Posted 13 August 2008 I do wonder that when he is fit, whether he will make the team? With Oaley, Weso, King, Kishishev et al...
teblin Posted 13 August 2008 Posted 13 August 2008 Pearson said on the phone in they can't put a time limit on it at the moment.
Alexikokopops Posted 13 August 2008 Posted 13 August 2008 Grumio is in the atrium.Caecilius! Caecilius pater est! I've been to Caecilius' house in Pompey
The People's Hero Posted 13 August 2008 Posted 13 August 2008 Caecilius dominus est. Patella. Sweet sweet Patella. Was that her name?
Alexikokopops Posted 13 August 2008 Posted 13 August 2008 Caecilius dominus est.Patella. Sweet sweet Patella. Was that her name? Metella Quintus was dreamy
Babylon Posted 13 August 2008 Posted 13 August 2008 On the phone in they were pretty cagey... I reckon he's a gonner as soon as he's fit.
Flynny Posted 13 August 2008 Posted 13 August 2008 On the phone in they were pretty cagey... I reckon he's a gonner as soon as he's fit. How do you mean?
Guest Posted 13 August 2008 Posted 13 August 2008 How do you mean? Milan's gonna have him bumped off as soon as he's fit
Flynny Posted 13 August 2008 Posted 13 August 2008 Milan's gonna have him bumped off as soon as he's fit This sounds like a case for Chandler.
Babylon Posted 13 August 2008 Posted 13 August 2008 How do you mean? As in, he will be sold as soon as he can pass a medical... just the feeling I got by the way they were talking. Although they were pretty cagey about pretty much everything so who knows. If someone had asked what his favourite drink was he'd of listed the merits of tea, coffee and horlicks and then proceeded to tell us he'd never attack one of the drinks in public. Although he did state he would never through a tea cup... so I reckon he's a cuppa cha man.

Babylon Posted 13 August 2008 Posted 13 August 2008 who? The people on the phone in as I stated earlier... ie Pearson and friends.

Simi Posted 13 August 2008 Posted 13 August 2008 If the likes of Fryatt and Oakley have been given second chances in this team then Clemence certainly deserves it if he's interested in staying that is. I like him and think some of the stick he took last season was harsh. We were lacking creativity yes, but Clemence was never going to be the man to bring that to us, yet I think people expected that from him. Can't see him being here much longer, although he's said he wants to be after we got relegated I beleive. But then again so did a certain top goalscorer.
Manderic's pants Posted 13 August 2008 Posted 13 August 2008 Don't we need him for free kicks if nothing else?
dandannieldanok Posted 13 August 2008 Posted 13 August 2008 Don't we need him for free kicks if nothing else? No, he wasn't even particularly good at them anyway. And that would just send out the same kind of message that Capello is by including Beckham in the England set-up (obviously on a completely different level of calibre). I don't think we can keep Clemence and Oakley, they're too similar, and given Oakley's positive start there is only one way for Clemence to go.
Father Ted Posted 13 August 2008 Posted 13 August 2008 Caecilius. Caecilius est in horto! Anyway, the longer the better!
Alan Young Posted 23 August 2008 Posted 23 August 2008 Does anyone know how close he is to being fit?
