That £88 was fuel being loads more than I thought, break down and a new tyre, all for jpt 1st round!

lou Posted 17 April 2009 Posted 17 April 2009 I dont even want to attempt to calculate how much its cost.... whatever... ITS BEEN WORTH IT!!
Tommeh Posted 17 April 2009 Author Posted 17 April 2009 Completely neglected this, all I remember is psssing a grand after Brisol Rovers I think it was, so I'd imagine I'll be around £1,500-1,750 come the end. Howards goal on Monday, Gradel's free kick, Dyers winner at Huddersfield and King's clincher at Scunny are completely priceless. Was a silly idea.
Simi Posted 17 April 2009 Posted 17 April 2009 Still doing mine of my desktop, makes interesting reading. Yes, some of the moments this season have been priceless, but I still like to keep track as it is going to help me budget my money better for next year.

gerrytaggart Posted 17 April 2009 Posted 17 April 2009 well...there are many people who cannot afford such excesses especially with all that is going on in the world right now. I suppose you would all look down your noses at someone who has only been to 2 games this year....I have to feed my daughter, that comes first I'm affraid....I am what you would call an armchair fan but that does not make me any less of a fan. I dont live in leicester, I live just over 50 miles away, but since the internet streaming has been blocked I have found that if I reverse onto my driveway just to the right point I can get a faint radio leicester signal. I have probably spent £100 or so this season...anyone know how many nappies that would buy???

If it's just going to cause arguments, I've no problem with someone closing it.

syston_fox Posted 17 April 2009 Posted 17 April 2009 I lost track of mine long ago but think it will be pushing about £2500 maybe more. Every Leicester game home and away 3 Man City home games 1 Arsenal home game in the champions league 1 Spurs home game 1 Liverpool home game (included stopping over in Liverpool) 1 West Ham home game 1 Notts County home game 1 Chesterfield home game 1 England game at Wembley 67 games so far since the start of pre-season. The three remaining Leicester games, England v Andorra and anything else that takes my fancy and thats me done. It's gonna be a long summer!!
act smiley Posted 17 April 2009 Posted 17 April 2009 Tickets for Leicester matches ~£115-£130 for 6-7 depending on whether I can get a half day next Friday. 'other' (1x Swindon Town spare, 3x Basingstoke Town). ~£25 Trains ~£45 Petrol ~£60-£70 Pretty painful numbers considering how rarely I get off my arse and go. Not really bothered being efficient with petrol etc though, so that explains quite a bit.
Uncle Albert Posted 17 April 2009 Posted 17 April 2009 That's silly amounts of money being spent! Fairplay.
C-man Posted 17 April 2009 Posted 17 April 2009 Didn't want to add up the money spent on City this season, it'd be frightening. I have been adding up miles totalled this season. Tomorrow will get me past 5000 and up to 5180. I'm quite astonished it's that much. To put it into perspective, thats similar to the distance from my house to Los Angeles.
lou Posted 17 April 2009 Posted 17 April 2009 I did add how much I spent didn't I???...sorry, being skint has given me a bad attitude. No one digs at anyone on here for not going to games... well not that Ive noticed in the short time Ive been on here which is refreshing compared to most forums. Im fortunate to be able to go to most games nowadays but missed several seasons when the kids were likkle so know how it is. I even missed the 94 play off final as my Daughter was a new born (Ive never let her forget it!) I do struggle to pay for games sometimes I admit but its my only hobby and as long as the kids all have what they need then I get by. I dont get new clothes very often!
