Ross-Kemp Posted 6 September 2008 Posted 6 September 2008 Some good points being made here but i hav not got a clue how i feel. There you go ladies and gentlemen, jake shingler, the emotionless boy
Rodderz Posted 6 September 2008 Posted 6 September 2008 And then we wont see the benefits of it for a number of years, so people will still be moaning about the state of English football for a while. Yeh we need to take a leaf out of italy's book , like 70% of players in serie a are italian. and they win the world cup. the state of the premier league is stupid
Tilley Posted 6 September 2008 Posted 6 September 2008 Job done, simple as. Need to do come up with something special for the Croatia game though.
Ross-Kemp Posted 6 September 2008 Posted 6 September 2008 I agree Rodderz, but apparently, it's racist to limit the number of foriegners playing in england.
LeeCovFox Posted 6 September 2008 Posted 6 September 2008 I agree Rodderz, but apparently, it's racist to limit the number of foriegners playing in england. Racism has nothing to do with it. It's called restriction of trade. The Premier League would be poorer without the foreign playesr we have here. Much poorer. If English players were taught correctly as kids, and developed enough technically, they would find themselves in the sides of the top clubs, But that isn't happening. England are not doing badly because of the number of foreigners plying their trade in the Premier League. They are doing badly because they are not very good.
JakeShingler Posted 6 September 2008 Posted 6 September 2008 I agree Rodderz, but apparently, it's racist to limit the number of foriegners playing in england. haha Who gives a fcuk?
LeeCovFox Posted 6 September 2008 Posted 6 September 2008 haha Who gives a fcuk? Intelligent contribution.
Ajax Treesdown Posted 6 September 2008 Posted 6 September 2008 Because i'm sick and tired of a bunch of overpaid t*ssers playing for this country. No passion, and half of them are Sh*t anyways, the only player who deserves to play is Joe mole. Capello out Its true. I have lost interest totally in England. Overpaid players that don't put the effort in. (except Joe Cole, Theo Walcott) Boo!
dandannieldanok Posted 6 September 2008 Posted 6 September 2008 Why on earth are the FA paying this fool £6m to play the likes of Stewart Downing and Theo Walcott ahead of Joe Cole, madness. Joe Cole has been England's best performer for the last couple of years and the only bright spark in WC 2006.
Corky Posted 6 September 2008 Posted 6 September 2008 Why on earth are the FA paying this fool £6m to play the likes of Stewart Downing and Theo Walcott ahead of Joe Cole, madness. Joe Cole has been England's best performer for the last couple of years and the only bright spark in WC 2006. I thought Walcott played well, but I agree, Cole should be the first name on the team sheet. Rooney should be dropped, what does he do that benefits the team?
lildave3 Posted 6 September 2008 Posted 6 September 2008 Pretty woeful that. Cole HAD to start, Downing was completely and utterly the wrong choice for a game like this and considering who was playing up front.
Alexikokopops Posted 6 September 2008 Posted 6 September 2008 I dont understand why people got so arsey about the match not being on terrestrial. England haven't been entertaining for over ten years. I fell asleep for the last 15 minutes of that game.
dandannieldanok Posted 6 September 2008 Posted 6 September 2008 What I don't get in these games is why do we persist with a 4-4-2. It was completely unnecessary to have a back-line against the likes of Andorra, especially when it is practically a home fixture with the majority support and a half-decent pitch.
Alexikokopops Posted 6 September 2008 Posted 6 September 2008 So did any england player do well? Joe Cole. Walcott looked lively for the first half hour. That's about it.
lildave3 Posted 6 September 2008 Posted 6 September 2008 Joe Cole. Walcott looked lively for the first half hour. That's about it. David James didn't put a foot wrong.
Corky Posted 6 September 2008 Posted 6 September 2008 So did any england player do well? Joe Cole and Theo Walcott. David James didn't put a foot wrong. Yeah, David James as well
davieG Posted 6 September 2008 Posted 6 September 2008 I dont understand why people got so arsey about the match not being on terrestrial. England haven't been entertaining for over ten years. I fell asleep for the last 15 minutes of that game. It's the principle but i agree it was sleep inducing stuff.
Corky Posted 6 September 2008 Posted 6 September 2008 It's the principle but i agree it was sleep inducing stuff. It was like watching Leicester City 2004-2008.
Alexikokopops Posted 6 September 2008 Posted 6 September 2008 David James didn't put a foot wrong. Yeah, but he had 3 touches. I could've done his job tonight. I didn't think it was even worth mentioning.
lildave3 Posted 6 September 2008 Posted 6 September 2008 Yeah, but he had 3 touches. I could've done his job tonight. I didn't think it was even worth mentioning. Alex, surely you know not to take my posts seriously by now!
Joe. Posted 6 September 2008 Posted 6 September 2008 Is this the same Theo Walcott who had zero end product?
Father Ted Posted 6 September 2008 Posted 6 September 2008 You must be having a laff'! Stewart 'Most-overrated and biggest bumsucker ever' Downing plays ahead of Joe Cole!
