James. Posted 6 September 2008 Posted 6 September 2008 Alex, surely you know not to take my posts seriously by now! He seems to be going through a serious spell. By his standards anyway.
lildave3 Posted 6 September 2008 Posted 6 September 2008 He seems to be going through a serious spell. By his standards anyway. Ludicrous. I remember the days when he used to drink things out of Viking Hats.
Alexikokopops Posted 6 September 2008 Posted 6 September 2008 Alex, surely you know not to take my posts seriously by now! YOu have to remember that I've only just woken up after such a boring match, I'm allowed to be a bit slow. Is this the same Theo Walcott who had zero end product? He did look lively though in the first half hour. Vertainly better than anyone else in the first half.
Joe. Posted 6 September 2008 Posted 6 September 2008 He did look lively though in the first half hour. Vertainly better than anyone else in the first half. I agree he did look lively, but everything else about him was poor. Anyway, this game isn't even worth debating over it was that bad.
Simi Posted 7 September 2008 Posted 7 September 2008 Hahaha. I laugh at the people that paid for this and Amir Khan expecting a MASSIVE night of sport. Joke.
Matt Posted 7 September 2008 Posted 7 September 2008 The plan was Sambuca for every goal scored...Somehow we ended up have 5 sambuca's $ I didn't pay for the game, Just paid in beer instead (Which i'd have done anyway), and I paid 3 quid towards the Khan fight...And that was 3 quid too much.
Daggers Posted 7 September 2008 Posted 7 September 2008 Q: Exactly how pointless is Wayne Rooney in an international shirt? A: Very. (Half marks awarded for 'Quite')
Corky Posted 7 September 2008 Posted 7 September 2008 Q: Exactly how pointless is Wayne Rooney in an international shirt? A: Very. (Half marks awarded for 'Quite') No doubt the Manc plastics will be slagging off Lampard whilst conveniently ignoring the failings of their beloved Rooney Some are saying he's our best player
Matt Posted 7 September 2008 Posted 7 September 2008 No doubt the Manc plastics will be slagging off Lampard whilst conveniently ignoring the failings of their beloved Rooney Some are saying he's our best player Rooney is useless, but don't for one second excuse Fat Frank and Terry. Terry? Captain? TBH Ashley Cole impressed me to some extent yesterday, and I hate the fooking cockhead.
Tevez Posted 7 September 2008 Posted 7 September 2008 Everyone slagging England off, well done. Let's see this thread when it comes to South Africa 2010.

It's so petty.
Matt Posted 7 September 2008 Posted 7 September 2008 Everyone slagging England off, well done. Let's see this thread when it comes to South Africa 2010. I'll admit i'll be on the bandwagon. But tbh at the moment I just can't be arsed with England, dunno why. Even last season I still loved Leicester, I still stood by Leicester, I feel none of this for England or England players at the moment, There a joke. As individual's we have some of the world best players (Up there anyway), as a team there shite. I know last night was a qualifier, It was a competitive game but I still couldn't be arsed with it. When a big competition comes up such as World Cup 2010 i'll be all over it probably, but hopefully we'll have some new exciting players playing by then, or atleast hopefully it'll be some of the current crock of shit's last major tournament! ...Oh yeah, I forgot, we've got to qualify for South Africa 2010 yet
dandannieldanok Posted 7 September 2008 Posted 7 September 2008 http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/i...als/7602964.stm I know this is irrelevant to the Andorra game but is it just me or does Gerrard come across as a complete kn*b in this article, to me he's just sounding like a patronising little upstart.

I'd rather he played over Fat Frank.

But what he is saying is true. He will play better if in his favored position.
dandannieldanok Posted 7 September 2008 Posted 7 September 2008 He will play better if in his favored position. But what is his favourite position? He says box-to-box and for me that means central midfield, and he has certainly played more than 5 times in centre-mid in his England career. For me it sounds like he covering his tracks and finding excuses for playing at the same lacklustre level as the much vilified Lampard for at least the last 2 years.

I would just call it honesty personally. For me, he's technically England's best player, and playing him out of position is ridiculous.
Ashley Posted 7 September 2008 Author Posted 7 September 2008 Andorra V England was amazing. The game wasnt that very good but the atmosphere around Barcelona was amazing England fans anywhere you looked, i didnt see any trouble what so ever the fans was relaxed so was the policing. I´ll upload pictures and videos when I get back into England. There was loads of Leicester fans over there
