Tubes Posted 20 August 2008 Posted 20 August 2008 Couldnt see it anywhere. Barwick Set For F.A. Exit Edited to say im pretty glad
Daggers Posted 20 August 2008 Posted 20 August 2008 To his credit, he knew that MON was the only manager who could have got England playing winning football. A shame then that his spineless nature left him sitting alongside dozy bollocks at the press conference saying that he was always his first choice. From that moment he has been a dead man walking. Ironic that he should now have appointed a manager he firmly rates and yet he's paying the price for appointing a manager he never wanted.
Tubes Posted 20 August 2008 Author Posted 20 August 2008 Anyone know who is likely to replace him? Or will it be someone we have never heard of?
Uncle Albert Posted 20 August 2008 Posted 20 August 2008 Anyone know who is likely to replace him? Or will it be someone we have never heard of? I will have a guess at David Gill.
Tubes Posted 20 August 2008 Author Posted 20 August 2008 I will have a guess at David Gill. Peter Taylor should be given a chance!
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 21 August 2008 Posted 21 August 2008 I wouldn't stop to shit on his carpet.
Guest Posted 21 August 2008 Posted 21 August 2008 I wouldn't stop to shit on his carpet. There's a phrase that I've never heard before
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 21 August 2008 Posted 21 August 2008 There's a phrase that I've never heard before It's an alteration of the vintage "piss on him if he was on fire" phrase.
lildave3 Posted 21 August 2008 Posted 21 August 2008 It's an alteration of the vintage "piss on him if he was on fire" phrase. But yours makes no sense. Even if you liked him, why would you want to stop and shit on his carpet? I don't think you've thought this through at all.

Nick Posted 21 August 2008 Posted 21 August 2008 I simply hope he's not replaced with another FA 'old school tie colleague' with the same handshake and ability to make decisions to suit the FA alone. Too much to hope for probably.
Darkzzz_ Posted 21 August 2008 Posted 21 August 2008 I think the guy is a knob so I am not to sad about him leaving.
Tubes Posted 21 August 2008 Author Posted 21 August 2008 Cheerio Cheerio Cheerio. All round approval then
Ultra Posted 21 August 2008 Posted 21 August 2008 Wonder if he's getting the same payoff that Sven did...
Corky Posted 21 August 2008 Posted 21 August 2008 About sodding time. He was behind the decision to sell the England games to Setanta, and he also appointed Steve McClaren. You won't be missed Barwick.
Lovejoy Posted 21 August 2008 Posted 21 August 2008 I don't like the bloke, but that is a bloody nasty job .
Ultra Posted 21 August 2008 Posted 21 August 2008 I don't like the bloke, but that is a bloody nasty job . Too right. Look at all the England games you have to watch..
The Stig Posted 21 August 2008 Posted 21 August 2008 His fault we didn't qualify for Euro 2008. Steve Mclaren should never have been picked for the job.
Lovejoy Posted 21 August 2008 Posted 21 August 2008 His fault we didn't qualify for Euro 2008. Steve Mclaren should never have been picked for the job. Shit as Shteve McClaren (to be pronounced in a Dutch accent these days ) was, the abundance of supposed "talent" playing should have secured us qualification anyway. They are the ones to blame. Mind you, one wonders just how "talented" those overpayed fookers actually are .
Raj Posted 22 August 2008 Posted 22 August 2008 Barwick's a fat knob. In fact most of the hierachy at the FA are fooking Arseholes....see what i did there!!!??? <_<
