Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 11 January 2009 Posted 11 January 2009 How does it not make sense? Hands not cold, but still bloody long sleeves don't get in the way. It's perfectly logical. Nope.
Darkzzz_ Posted 11 January 2009 Author Posted 11 January 2009 I am just going to mention Barca yet again, (sorry Sparky, had to say it) I am not going to praise them tonight though, I am praising Osasuna, A brave team who kept going until the end. Great game, really enjoyed that.

lildave3 Posted 11 January 2009 Posted 11 January 2009 I watched the last 15 minutes Valencia/Villareal last night. There was 3 goals, yet I was only mildly entertained. Yet I watched todays game and enjoyed it alot more. There's just something about English football I love watching

I too love watching English football, but the only thing that annoys me is the media over here, biased as hell.

Darkzzz_ Posted 14 January 2009 Author Posted 14 January 2009 Barca have been class here tonight. Iniesta so under rated. Fantastic player, so clever.
CosbehFox Posted 16 January 2009 Posted 16 January 2009 Ibisevic out for the season. ACL - same as Tunch. Did it against HSV in Dubai.
lavrentis Posted 17 January 2009 Posted 17 January 2009 I notice on a signature that they have the Turkish flag on the shirt, I think I have seen it in another country. Does anyone reckon there should be like an english flag on the premier league shirts?
Darkzzz_ Posted 18 January 2009 Author Posted 18 January 2009 Barcelona absolute class yet again last night. Destroying teams for fun. Messi, Eto'o and Henry were class going forward, the little genius going on a little solo run and slotting a cheeky shot past the keeper. I know people have said about it being a one horse race, It is just the fact that Barca have been far superior to the rest of them. Pep is building an excellent side and I hope they can go on and win the CL also. So far so good.

Had two clear goalscoring opportunities in the first minute and a half. And Messi is on course to beat Ronaldo's goal record last season. I've decided now though, that this is the best football team I have ever seen. Better than Utd's treble-winners, better than Arsenal's invincibles, better than France 98, better than Spain 08, better even than Leicester 94 (possibly)... Valdes Alves Puyol Marquez AbidalYaya ToureXavi IniestaMessi Eto'o Henry

Floating Fox Posted 18 January 2009 Posted 18 January 2009 Ibisevic out for the season. ACL - same as Tunch. Did it against HSV in Dubai. jeez Talk about unlucky, the guy was not just the form of his life but world class form. As much as I hate the hoff, gotta feel sorry for them loosing Obasi too who is also a quality player.
Floating Fox Posted 18 January 2009 Posted 18 January 2009 Just been looking at some Bundesliga news as I haven't followed it over the winter-break but Bochum have signed Klimowicz from Dortmund...Hopefully he can get them some much needed goals but I doubt it. Bad news for vfl is that they've lost their captain to Leverkusen. Zdebel is a quality player. Their really gonna struggle Podolski could be heading back to Koln, his youth club too. Although nothing has been confirmed yet. Would be a good move for him imo.

Considering going Milan - Bremen, the two krauts I'd be going with are sound as fook but from the stories they've told me it sounds like their mates are the more 'lively' of the supporters. The kind of guys whose English equivalents would probably kick off if they spotted a German amongst them.

Bremen fans have a good reputation over there. Your best to ask your mates how nutty his pals are, at worst you could just go to a different part of the away end..

Yeah they said you'll probably have to stand away from the main head cases because if they see you're not singing they're gunna wonder what's going on. That's fine though, was more concerned about in the bars and stuff because they're going for 2 or 3 days and it aint gunna be much of a trip of if I gotta keep my mouth shut for the whole time. fook it, I'm sure it'll be alright. They're mates do sound like nutters but apparently Bremen fans don't give a fook about the national team so haven't really got a big grudge against English like certain other fans do.
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 18 January 2009 Posted 18 January 2009 If I could find whatever few faults there are in Barca at the minute, Abidal would get a mention. Never rated him, think there are far better full backs out there that Barca could snap up. Edit - And SUAS, Klimowicz! Oh dear! !
Fez of Mahrez Posted 18 January 2009 Posted 18 January 2009 SUAS, any idea what Wolfsburg fans are like? And whether they travel in numbers?
Floating Fox Posted 18 January 2009 Posted 18 January 2009 SUAS, any idea what Wolfsburg fans are like? And whether they travel in numbers? (That says enough really. Wigan of the Bundesliga. They'll be noisey though.)
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 18 January 2009 Posted 18 January 2009 Also just found out today that Kevin Prince Boateng has signed for Dortmund on a loan deal, witha view to a permanent move. Good business again from Klopp.
