Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 18 January 2009 Posted 18 January 2009 Yeah I saw that too, not quite sure what I make of him though, he's not a patch on the proper Boateng! The "proper" one I'd fancy him to make an impact, Klopp seems to have a bit of the O' Neill about him, getting the best out of a unit. He's certainly got potential.
Darkzzz_ Posted 24 January 2009 Author Posted 24 January 2009 It is becoming a habit of saying this now. Excellent display by Barca yet again. First half was a little slow and to be fair to them they should have had a perfectly legitimate goal lead. Second half did become the "Messi" show, this lad is hands down the best on the planet at the moment. He is on fire, the ball is glued to his feet and he ghosts pasts players for fun. Eto'o was class again, One of the most prolific strikers in world footballer, sometimes he frustrates me, but I am sure most teams would love to have him. 4-1 (although they should have had two)
lildave3 Posted 24 January 2009 Posted 24 January 2009 Screw your Barca, Fenerbahce against Trabzonspor tomorrow, big match.
Darkzzz_ Posted 24 January 2009 Author Posted 24 January 2009 Screw Fenerbahce I can't quite believe you would say that about a team you "supposedly" like.
lildave3 Posted 24 January 2009 Posted 24 January 2009 I can't quite believe you would say that about a team you "supposedly" like. Well that's just overstepping the mark isn't it.
Darkzzz_ Posted 25 January 2009 Author Posted 25 January 2009 Well that's just overstepping the mark isn't it. Not really. This could be..... I hope they get their shorts whipped down and raped tomorrow. P.S - I look forward to you match report tomorrow.
lildave3 Posted 25 January 2009 Posted 25 January 2009 If it wasn't for me this thread would just be a Barcelona wankfest.
Darkzzz_ Posted 25 January 2009 Author Posted 25 January 2009 If it wasn't for me this thread would just be a Barcelona wankfest. I would say a toss up between Fenerbache and Barca because I think me and you are the only ones who post about other teams. It is the place to post after all.

Darkzzz_ Posted 25 January 2009 Author Posted 25 January 2009 Err, HELLO!?!?!?!?!?! And you... I also really appreciate your contribution on games I miss or can't watch.
Darkzzz_ Posted 25 January 2009 Author Posted 25 January 2009 Watched the Milan game today. Kaka and Pato are top notch. Well worked goal for Kaka's second. Beckham got on the score sheet too with a nice finish. Milan were pretty class, really enjoyed the game.
lildave3 Posted 25 January 2009 Posted 25 January 2009 Fenerbahce drawing 0-0 at half time. At least I think it's half time. Trabzonspor should have had a penalty.

Darkzzz_ Posted 25 January 2009 Author Posted 25 January 2009 Its not my fault I haven't had any matches to report on lately!! You are my Bundesliga Source. I rarely get to watch the games, only now and again, I have to make do with highlights.
Sparky Posted 25 January 2009 Posted 25 January 2009 I come in this thread for a bit of a Bundesliga report but nothing for a while . Pull your finger out SUAS !!!
Floating Fox Posted 25 January 2009 Posted 25 January 2009 I come in this thread for a bit of a Bundesliga report but nothing for a while . Pull your finger out SUAS !!! Winter break mate Back next weekend. Think its HSV vs Bayern on friday on Setanta. Would watch it if I wasn't working. Can't wait to see some German action.
Joe. Posted 26 January 2009 Posted 26 January 2009 Atletico have dropped right off the pace in the last few weeks, down to 6th and 9 points off 2nd now. Not won in 6 matches in all competitions either. Drew 1-1 with Malaga (who are doing alright themselves to be fair) yesterday.
Floating Fox Posted 28 January 2009 Posted 28 January 2009 Klinsman been using his LA contacts and has got Donovan in on Loan for Bayern! When did Lovenkrads go to Newcastle? Hoffenhiem have got Sanogo in from Werder, top player!
Alexikokopops Posted 28 January 2009 Posted 28 January 2009 If I could find whatever few faults there are in Barca at the minute, Abidal would get a mention.Never rated him, think there are far better full backs out there that Barca could snap up. Edit - And SUAS, Klimowicz! Oh dear! ! Abidal is a fucking liability Atletico have dropped right off the pace in the last few weeks, down to 6th and 9 points off 2nd now. Hoffenhiem have got Sanogo in from Werder, top player! He went a few days ago. Not a bad signing for Newcastle imo, a decent attacking player, even if that's not really where they need to strengthen. And that is a really nice piece of business by Hoffenheim. They've got some good strikers there. Abidal is a fucking liability He is. I've just never rated him, seeing him form part of that woeful France team in the Euros did nothing to change my mind, especially when for some reason he was keeping Evra out.

Exactly. I was so surprised when Barca signed him. I use to love being Lyon on Pro Evo a few years back. Every game I'd say at kick off "Abidal is a liability" and he'd never let me down.

Every game I'd say at kick off "Abidal is a liability" and he'd never let me down. When I used to play Pro Evo I was Saudi Arabia all the time, there's a player called "Alglorb", and I used to say, "The Alglorb will tear this Togo outfit apart". And he did, with ease.
CosbehFox Posted 30 January 2009 Posted 30 January 2009 Watching Bundesliga. 1-0 Hamburg at min. Hamburg very good first half, now it's all Bayern. Toni missed an absolute sitter, he is a donkey who has 10 chances a game and then scores one. Trochowski been brilliant though, very open game.
Jonezy Posted 30 January 2009 Posted 30 January 2009 Watching Bundesliga. 1-0 Hamburg at min. Hamburg very good first half, now it's all Bayern. Toni missed an absolute sitter, he is a donkey who has 10 chances a game and then scores one. Trochowski been brilliant though, very open game. Watched it too. Loads of chances in both ends, how Bayern didn't score must be down to something divine. I was impressed with Jarolim in the middle as well as Trochowski for HSV. Ribery is an awesome player though, probably the best player in the Bundesliga. Have a soft spot for HSV, so well pleased with the win for them. Great to have the German guys going again......
CosbehFox Posted 30 January 2009 Posted 30 January 2009 That save/block on the line from Klose was something. I think at that stage HSV fans realised God was on their side. Entertaining as always with Bayern. Loved the winding up of Toni, Van Bommel looks past it as Jarolim just kept cruising past him. HSV's pitch is massive though, really allows open football.
