Really enjoyed the Barca v Betis game tonight.

3-2 to Barca.

Eto'o looks like a new man after a poor season last time round, They are still missing something in the team.

I just hope they give more of a fight in the title race.

Atletico won again, nice goal from Sinama Pongolle.

Serie A highlights were good as well, Juve battered Catania but only managed a 1-1 draw, Milan won 2-1 against Reggina, Napoli beat Palermo 2-1 and Lazio bounced back from there hammering by Milan by beating Fiorentina 3-0.

The biggest result of the night was Genoa beating Roma 3-1.

Genoa are building a good little team there, they suprised many last season and they are continuing to this season as well.

Decent midweek football.

Barca were absolutely cruising and should have completely buried the game by half-time. In the end they scraped by, but they won't be so lucky every week. They really need to learn to be more ruthless and kill teams off instead of attempting to score the perfect goal all the time.

Real Madrid were stunning as well, but t'was all too easy. Won 7-1 in the end, Van der Vaart bagging himself a 'trick. Raul's 2nd goal was the highlight for me, delightful chip over the hapless 'keeper from just inside the box. Much like Vela's yesterday.

Gijon's fans were immense throughout that game as well. Their team is hopeless and they've shipped 13 goals in their last 2 games, but even at 7-1 down and greatly outnumbered in the Bernabeu, they were the loud ones, singing their hearts out and still trying to will the team on. Beautiful.

Udinese are the team for me, love the players in the side.

Obodo. D'Agostino, Di Natale.

Awesome side when they get going, started of pretty well. Won 2, drew 1 and lost 1.

Was sort of gutted Inler didnt go to Arsenal as their was rumours but I guess its a positive for Udinese. They have beaten Dortmund already in the first leg of the UEFA cup, things are looking good. I want them in the Champo next year though.

Ah yes Raul's chip was a delight as was Van Der Vaart's second.

Gijon are getting tonked at the moment.

Two tough games for them to be fair, but I will be hoping they upset a few of the other teams.

We all like a underdog don't we.

Is'nt there ever any South American Football on the box?

I discovered a few days ago that Tim Vickery does an interesting Aouth American Football Blog on the BBC website.

Watched most of the Libertadores and Sudamericana on Setanta. They show Brazilian league games as well. Early hours though.

Yeah. Saw both legs of the Libertadores final on Setanta. Couple of cracking games there.

Goalissimo is the business.

Cool. What's the average time slot?

I want to adopt an Argentinian team. But dont know which one. I dont want to adopt the best team at the minute, (which is Boca), i think i might go for River Plate.

No no no, always Boca over River. Always.

Go for Estudiantes if you don't want Boca.

Programme used to start no earlier than about 1:30 I think, could've been later.

If you want an Argy team go for Velez. My choice. A team I want to see play, although I'd probably have a more spectacular time at the Bombenera.

If not Velez then you can't go wrong with Independiente / San Lorenzo.

I always like to get my dose of the Argentine Apertura.

I have always liked Boca, maybe being a huge Diego Maradona fan influenced that.

River Plate have started this campaign off very poor, San Lorenzo are another team I like, they have started well.

I try to catch some Brazilian league highlights when I can.

I like that league as well.

I wish I could have eyes on every league, I would watch almost everything.

Saweet. I'll have to keep an eye out.

Velez eh? I want an Argy shirt, (not the National team), thats why River tickeld me, i found a decent price for one.
