Lovejoy Posted 29 September 2008 Posted 29 September 2008 Their kit is sexy. And David Villa is on top form so far this season, they could go close. Imo he is the best centre forward going atm. And that kit is indeed sexy.
Sods Posted 29 September 2008 Posted 29 September 2008 Udinese remain among the early pacesetters and secured a 2-1 success at home to Siena this weekend. Fabio Quagliarella (22) and Simone Pepe (29) gave the hosts a comfortable lead, but saw Houssine Kharja (38) pull one back before break. Siena, though, were unable to find an equaliser and slipped to a third straight defeat.
Simi Posted 29 September 2008 Posted 29 September 2008 Time for some real trouble at football matches, not the usual "Man is drunk and fights with children and women" stories we get in England. Espanyol v Barca The game was suspended for 10 minutes or so as Barcelona fans threw roughly 6 or 7 flares into the main stand (where all normal fans, children were sat) in the Olympic Stadium (where England played recently) If you are not aware, the only Barcelona fans that will go to the derby game are Hooligans (90%) of them anyway. Normal fans just will not go so tickets are available for the banned Ultra group of FC Barce3lona, the Boxios Nois. They cannot enter the Nou Camp (and that is one of the main reasons for the poor atmosphere at their home games)
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 29 September 2008 Posted 29 September 2008 Some European fans are pure mental. I remember reading somewhere about an incident in Italy where a set of Atalanta fans set fire to a motorised scooter and threw it onto the Roma supporting tier below them. Could be wrong about the teams involved, but Atalanta were definately in there, Roma/Lazio were the other.

That could have been me that said that. That was awful that day. Inter v Atalanta at the San Siro. Around 6-7 years ago now. There are a lot of violet fans all around Europe, the polish are certainly amongst the roughest.

Was entertaining and you did actually see what Europe is like when it comes to trouble. Just been reading a Hooligan book called 'Top Boys' and some of the Russian stories and Dutch stories would make me shit scared if I was there. How did Real get on this weekend?

Yeah it does open your eyes doesn't it. The most scared I have ever been at a game is the Rome derby, that gets really nasty. But not everyone, just the firms. The Russian fans are nuts as well your right there, I read some nasty things about some of them lot. As for Madrid they won 2-1 away to Real Betis.

Enjoyed watching that, especially the Turkish one.
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 29 September 2008 Posted 29 September 2008 I loved the Wheel Football Factorwheeze. "It's all kicking off!"
Uncle Albert Posted 29 September 2008 Posted 29 September 2008 Me too. Enjoyed watching that, especially the Turkish one. That was a class episode, seeing Danny Dyer wearing one of the Fenerbache jackets was hillarious. And them Turks are bloody madheads they dont give a shit. Wouldnt mind experiencing that. My favourite was the Rome derby one, that seemed pretty intense and unreal. Dyer doing a half in either end. Lucky shit.
Lovejoy Posted 29 September 2008 Posted 29 September 2008 I'd watch any program with Danny Dyer just to see that fantastic walk of his . And to hear the word "naughty" used every other sentence.

Uncle Albert Posted 29 September 2008 Posted 29 September 2008 And how about the one in Brazil where the coach he was traveling on was shot at? Not keen on the Non-European ones. But them Brazilians are very "Nowty" people. The Danny Dyer walk is legendary.
Floating Fox Posted 29 September 2008 Posted 29 September 2008 Bayern nightmares!!! 5-2 against Bremen? Pizzaro Is on fire out there! And not much better this week.
The Blur Posted 30 September 2008 Posted 30 September 2008 After looking up ReaL Mallorca I have opted to not to adopt them because most of players I am familiar with has left Still looking on market guys!
Ric Flair Posted 30 September 2008 Posted 30 September 2008 Sampdoria drew 0-0 with Juventus at the weekend, they wasted numerous chances and it highlighted their desperate need for a clinical finisher. They haven't won yet in the league this season from 5 games played and it's looking quite bad right now.

It is a bad start for them considering many had them down to be a surprise for the top 4 this season. Whilst there is a long way to go I do agree they need a clinical goal scorer, I bet they wish they signed Giladino now, He has been superb since he joined Viola.
The Blur Posted 1 October 2008 Posted 1 October 2008 Zentit St Petersburg... But the russian season would have ended by now? Saw them last night against Real Madrid, it was a terrfic game both teams played some great football and Danny was excellent Am considering them at moment
Floating Fox Posted 1 October 2008 Posted 1 October 2008 Watched Bundesliga Highlights when I got back from Colchester last night. Aweomse stuff! Werder Match was out of this world.
Joe. Posted 1 October 2008 Posted 1 October 2008 vs Should be a winnable game for Atletico tonight, I just hope the players recover from Saturday's shoddy performance and get back to winning ways. Here's looking at you Sergio Aguero and Maxi Rodriguez.

Only one defeat (against Hoffenheim <_< ) but Subotic looks like an inspired signing, and I really rate Jurgen Klopp.
