Floating Fox Posted 1 October 2008 Posted 1 October 2008 Dortmund are looking okay at the minute, no? Only one defeat (against Hoffenheim <_< ) but Subotic looks like an inspired signing, and I really rate Jurgen Klopp. Good win over Stuggart, looking good for Europe. No chance of tittle imo though. Klopp is a good manager, but the squad is not good enough at all. Zidan looked liked a bargain but Petric is scoring for fun at Hamburg and looking like a smart buy for them. Not sure about Nelson Valdez either. Looks quality sometimes, then others makes a complete hash of things. If he picks up and scores 15 goals they'll do well. They'll be on the border of UEFA/Champs League imo.
ASH17LCFC Posted 1 October 2008 Posted 1 October 2008 Watched Bundesliga Highlights when I got back from Colchester last night. Aweomse stuff! Werder Match was out of this world. Yeah they where awesome in europe last night against the mighty cypriot champions ...

He needs to given the sacrifice of Petric. Doubtless that Frei will want away in January as well and he's so influential for them. I'm not convinced with Valdez either, if they can just find that 20 goals man they can't be far off the Champs League pace. I think I've already said in this thread that Hajnal is a potentially brilliant signing though. Did fantastically at Karlsruhe last season. Santana looks a tidy purchase as well.

I think He could get them the 20 goals they need to be fair. Hes bagged a couple and has only been on as a substitue! It'll be a very, very interesting season in the Bundesliga. Theres a lot of teams on the same playing field. Far more unpredicatble than the premiership. I love it. :mrgeen:

Absolute class act.
Floating Fox Posted 1 October 2008 Posted 1 October 2008 Hajnal is 27. I thought he was only about 23 / 24.And how could I forget Kuba? Absolute class act. Gonna have to disagree with Kuba....The man is just a Buffalo if we're honest!

But he's very much a confidence player and needs the full backing of his manager. He got that at FC Midtjylland, FSV Mainz and during the last African Cup of Nations... Pray that Klopp rates him
Ric Flair Posted 2 October 2008 Posted 2 October 2008 It is a bad start for them considering many had them down to be a surprise for the top 4 this season.Whilst there is a long way to go I do agree they need a clinical goal scorer, I bet they wish they signed Giladino now, He has been superb since he joined Viola. They just missed out on Crespo on transfer deadline day as well from what I gather.
Darkzzz_ Posted 2 October 2008 Author Posted 2 October 2008 Yeah that is true. Crespo would have done well at Samp. He needs games I don't know why he didn't go.
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 2 October 2008 Posted 2 October 2008 Gonna have to disagree with Kuba....The man is just a Buffalo if we're honest! I can't believe a man I have muchos respect for has said that. Dissapointing. Kuba is a excellent (ay). Hes Wank. Doubt you even know who he is, if you did you wouldn't say that. I'm hoping for the sake of Bundesliga fans that Zidan will come good. When on form he's just so delightful to watch. But he's very much a confidence player and needs the full backing of his manager. He got that at FC Midtjylland, FSV Mainz and during the last African Cup of Nations... Pray that Klopp rates him Klopp seems to be quite a good man manager so I'd expect him to give Zidan a little confidence boost if need be. Agree with what you've said about him though.
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 5 October 2008 Posted 5 October 2008 Villarreal beat Betis 2-1 last night. Come on the Yellow Submarine. Dortmund V Hannover tonight.
Darkzzz_ Posted 5 October 2008 Author Posted 5 October 2008 Need I say anything about the hammering Barca dished out to Atletico last night. Excellent display against a excellent team in Atletico Madrid. Hopefully they can put in more decent performances and challenge this season. Just watching Juve V Palermo, Del Piero just scored a nice free kick and Sissoko just get sent off for a naughty challenge.
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 5 October 2008 Posted 5 October 2008 Fener play Kayserispor tonight. Must win. Must win...Probably lose.
Joe. Posted 5 October 2008 Posted 5 October 2008 **** me, Atletico got shown right up by Barca yesterday.
dandannieldanok Posted 5 October 2008 Posted 5 October 2008 Anyone seen Ibrahimovic's goal yesterday against Bologna: http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=emxrQy58vO0&...feature=related The man is a genius, a real beaut of a goal.
lildave3 Posted 5 October 2008 Posted 5 October 2008 Oh my ****ing god. Piss off Aragones. 4-1 at home to Kayserispor. Julius Aghahowa scored a hat trick. What. A. Joke.
Tilley Posted 5 October 2008 Posted 5 October 2008 Oh my ****ing god.Piss off Aragones. 4-1 at home to Kayserispor. Julius Aghahowa scored a hat trick. What. A. Joke. I know very little about Turkish football, but even I know, that it is a shit result.
dandannieldanok Posted 5 October 2008 Posted 5 October 2008 Oh my ****ing god.Piss off Aragones. 4-1 at home to Kayserispor. Julius Aghahowa scored a hat trick. What. A. Joke. Is that the bloke who couldn't buy a goal at Wigan?
Joe. Posted 5 October 2008 Posted 5 October 2008 Is that the bloke who couldn't buy a goal at Wigan? Yep!
dandannieldanok Posted 5 October 2008 Posted 5 October 2008 Yep! Deary me, he was woeful for Wigan. In other news, Lyon have crashed to a 3-0 defeat in Rennes and my favourite team Monaco have slumped to another disappointing defeat in St. Etienne.

Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 5 October 2008 Posted 5 October 2008 Dortmund drew 1-1 with Hannover. Nelson Valdez scored. They are now sixth. Not too bad.
