Dortmund are looking okay at the minute, no? Only one defeat (against Hoffenheim <_< ) but Subotic looks like an inspired signing, and I really rate Jurgen Klopp.

Good win over Stuggart, looking good for Europe. No chance of tittle imo though. Klopp is a good manager, but the squad is not good enough at all.

Zidan looked liked a bargain but Petric is scoring for fun at Hamburg and looking like a smart buy for them. Not sure about Nelson Valdez either. Looks quality sometimes, then others makes a complete hash of things. If he picks up and scores 15 goals they'll do well. They'll be on the border of UEFA/Champs League imo. ;)

Yeah from what I've seen of Zidan so far he's been woeful, but he is a talent and I'm convinced he'll come good. He needs to given the sacrifice of Petric. Doubtless that Frei will want away in January as well and he's so influential for them. I'm not convinced with Valdez either, if they can just find that 20 goals man they can't be far off the Champs League pace.

I think I've already said in this thread that Hajnal is a potentially brilliant signing though. Did fantastically at Karlsruhe last season. Santana looks a tidy purchase as well.

Hajnal is 27. I thought he was only about 23 / 24.

I'm hoping for the sake of Bundesliga fans that Zidan will come good. When on form he's just so delightful to watch. But he's very much a confidence player and needs the full backing of his manager. He got that at FC Midtjylland, FSV Mainz and during the last African Cup of Nations... Pray that Klopp rates him

It is a bad start for them considering many had them down to be a surprise for the top 4 this season.

Whilst there is a long way to go I do agree they need a clinical goal scorer, I bet they wish they signed Giladino now, He has been superb since he joined Viola.

They just missed out on Crespo on transfer deadline day as well from what I gather.

Klopp seems to be quite a good man manager so I'd expect him to give Zidan a little confidence boost if need be. Agree with what you've said about him though.

Need I say anything about the hammering Barca dished out to Atletico last night.

Excellent display against a excellent team in Atletico Madrid.

Hopefully they can put in more decent performances and challenge this season.

Just watching Juve V Palermo, Del Piero just scored a nice free kick and Sissoko just get sent off for a naughty challenge.
