Uncle Albert Posted 10 September 2008 Posted 10 September 2008 Someone give me a random team to follow. Udinese.
lavrentis Posted 10 September 2008 Posted 10 September 2008 I'll take a team,I'm open to idea's. Just think about different leagues? Maybe where you have been on holiday? Or just look around different league tables?
Father Ted Posted 10 September 2008 Posted 10 September 2008 I'll take a team,I'm open to idea's. Rapid Vienna, MTK Hungary, FK Borac Cacak, Dynamo Kyiv or Zenit St.Petersburg.
lavrentis Posted 10 September 2008 Posted 10 September 2008 PAE Aris einai 4i ston pinaka. (I'm learning Greek ) Aris FC are fourth at the moment. Hopefully they will do well this season but they normally stay around the 4th spot as the obvious Pana, AEK, Pireaus are always ahead. The fans are mental though, probably just like everywhere else in europe .
lavrentis Posted 10 September 2008 Posted 10 September 2008 I have chose Sivasspor from Turkey. No doubt ld3 will be there to mock you !!!!

Alexikokopops Posted 12 September 2008 Posted 12 September 2008 I've stolen St Pauli before Andy can claim them Now to find out what they're doing...
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 12 September 2008 Posted 12 September 2008 Not really. As long as it's not Galatasary or Besiktas Top of the league young man, the stats do not lie. I will not rise to your gibberish. Although Galatasary are derided by moi. Oh, and, just to say, in case you forgot, Besiktas are top of the league. (For the record I also follow Dortmund , Panathanaikos and always keep an eye out for Villarreal's results.)
Joe. Posted 12 September 2008 Posted 12 September 2008 Well, it appears Sporting's first actual game of the season is their Champions League opener against Barca. Pffft, piece of piss.
Darkzzz_ Posted 13 September 2008 Author Posted 13 September 2008 Palermo 3 Roma 1 Highlights looked good, Miccoli scored a peach of a goal and then added a second. Dortmund 3 Schalke 3 Also just seen the highlights of this. Great game so it seemed.
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 13 September 2008 Posted 13 September 2008 Dortmund 3Schalke 3 Also just seen the highlights of this. Great game so it seemed. It always is. I've been to the Westfalenstadion a few times and have sort of adopted Dortmund as a second team over the years. They look really promising this year, if they can keep hold of some of their key players, like Frei, Kuba, and Weidenfeller then Europe's a definate possibility. They've already played Munich and Shalke and come away undefeated, and the signing of Hajnal from Karlsruhe for just over a million Euros looks like an absolute snip. Came back from a three-nil defecit as well. Good times.

Good times. I agree. From what I have seen of them so far, they look a tidy unit. Fair play to them. Long may it continue. On another note: Barcelona drew 1-1 tonight with Racing They should have put the game beyond Racing really, but they try to hard to walk the ball into the net.

Mikey Posted 13 September 2008 Posted 13 September 2008 This is a great site to look at just about every league in the world. www.soccerway.com
lildave3 Posted 13 September 2008 Posted 13 September 2008 Hacettepe 2 - 1 Fenerbahce As predicted, Fenerbahce coach Aragones was forced to field young Can and Yasin, as Fenerbahce was missing several first-team players due to injury including Edu de Souza, Deivid de Souza, Tümer Metin, Emre Belözoglu and Selcuk Sahin. Captain Alex de Souza made the canaries take the lead in Ankara in the first half of the game. However, Hacettepe replied back and scored twice. Although the canaries pushed for an equaliser after the second goal, the pressure failed to produce a reward. Goalkeeper Volkan Demirel was sent off, and Yasin Cakmak took the gloves as the canaries lost the game away to Hacettespor thanks to goals from Ibrahim and Can Arat (own goal).
Tilley Posted 14 September 2008 Posted 14 September 2008 Anyone watch the Seville match last night? 4-3.
Darkzzz_ Posted 14 September 2008 Author Posted 14 September 2008 Dear oh dear. Just watched Milan get beat 2-0 away to Genoa. Genoa have a very young and exciting team and really took the game to Milan. I should imagine that will be Ancelotti's last game in charge, things need to change and they really should have got a new manager in the summer after last season's disastrous season. In another good game, Napoli came from a goal down to beat Fiorentina 2-1 at home. Napoli played some great football and if they can continue this form, they could go far in the Uefa cup.

Nobody likes Milan. Didn't Borriello move from Genoa to Ac in the summer? Doubt he'll ever get a proper run.
