Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 1 September 2008 Posted 1 September 2008 Just a replacement for Aurelio really. Yeah, Aurelio had kinda outgrown them.
Floating Fox Posted 2 September 2008 Posted 2 September 2008 This thread is basically gonna be me posting about Fenerbahce. It says I can talk about the Bundesliga !
Cat Burger Posted 2 September 2008 Posted 2 September 2008 I've got tickets for FC Bayern v Energie Cottbus in November when I got on holiday, can't wait. I'm sure the mrs can though.
Darkzzz_ Posted 2 September 2008 Author Posted 2 September 2008 I have been watching a few Bundesliga games, very impressed with the standard. The fans are class.

Cottbus aren't a bad outfit. Saw them play at Bochum when I went out there. Came back from 3-1 to make it 3-3! Their away kit was horrible last season, don't know if it's changed. They play good football as well. They won't take many fans though. Where abouts is your ticket?

The tickets were 30 euros a piece which is class considering. I've liked them since I was young (glory supporter who cares), but I'm actually most excited about seeing the ground, architecturally it looks amazing.

I see most of my highlights on Premier on the satellite receiver I have. It also shows loads of fans clips. Some tasty chicks in the crowd too.

You should have got standing tickets!! Ground is very nice, nice to see something different, even the stadiums in germany seem to be getting a bit generic like here. Have fun, very jealous
potter3 Posted 2 September 2008 Posted 2 September 2008 Fenerbahce's nickname (in english) is the canaries He meant the talented bit

Long story Don't ask me why the Barnet fans I know Support them either, as thats probably an even longer story than mine. Their fans are class, I can't imagine anything like that over here, where home games are quite that enjoyable, beer & sausage, good football (Ok when I was there they ****ed a 3-1 lead over, and did a 2-0 lead the same way last weekend). But it only cost 8 Quid for an adult ticket!
Father Ted Posted 2 September 2008 Posted 2 September 2008 Crvena Zvezda only have 1 point from 3 games in the Serbian Meridian Liga, not like them to play like that Also were unfortunate in the UEFA Cup qualifying, losing on away goals

Samilktray Posted 2 September 2008 Posted 2 September 2008 I need me a random foreign team from somewhere in Europe. Any suggestions?

Samilktray Posted 2 September 2008 Posted 2 September 2008 SANKT PAULI!!! I want a different league to everyone else.

Bochum (My team) haven't started well though Can seem them really stuggling this season. Dortmund (my team) on the other hand have had a great start to the season. Did you see Kuba's goal against Munich? Brilliance. Zidan for Petric + cash is not a bad move for them either. I want a different league to everyone else. Porthmadog of the Welsh first division. Quality outfit.
Samilktray Posted 2 September 2008 Posted 2 September 2008 Ladies and Gentleman i have decided my new European team is... Saint-Étienne. Im now going to educate myself on them to the best of my lazy ability.

Im now going to educate myself on them to the best of my lazy ability. I like St Etienne. They've got some qulaity players; you should "bone up" on Bafetimbi Gomis, Dimitri Payet and Kevin Mirallas (just signed from Lille). You sir, are a man of taste.
Samilktray Posted 2 September 2008 Posted 2 September 2008 Bafetimbi Gomis With a name like that, I am already in love. Wasnt he the one in the French squad for the Euros?

Sounds mad but out of all the places I have visited through europe for work or pleasure, German soil has never graced my feet. Will have to get out there, I would love to see Schalke play.
