leicesterfox86 Posted 12 January 2010 Posted 12 January 2010 Anyone see any of the big game in Serie A last night? This European football blog looks at Juventus v AC Milan and quite clearly states that the home side have massive problems at the minute. As for Milan, well they (and Beckham) are looking good at this crucial stage of the season. Cracking move for Beckham so far, could confirm his WC place if this carries on!

CosbehFox Posted 13 January 2010 Posted 13 January 2010 Hoffy v Bayern this Friday as Bundesliga wakes back up from the winter break. Normally a good game between these pair. The title is still wide, wide open. 6 teams all with a chance and Wolfsburg are not there. Bayer Leverkusen are still unbeaten for the season. In terms of the rest of the league, only Hertha look done for with just 6 points all season. St Pauli are also second in Bundesliga2 and it looks like Kaiserslautern will be back in the top flight too.

lildave3 Posted 15 January 2010 Posted 15 January 2010 I watched 10 minutes of Barca the other night. Saw Xavi score, and then saw Messi hit the post. I was grudgingly impressed so instantly turned over.
Fez of Mahrez Posted 15 January 2010 Posted 15 January 2010 I watched 10 minutes of Barca the other night. Saw Xavi score, and then saw Messi hit the post. I was grudgingly impressed so instantly turned over. They were absolutely on fire in that second half, still got knocked out though so you must be happy. It was incredible to watch nevertheless.
Super_horns Posted 17 January 2010 Posted 17 January 2010 Saw the games from Spain tonight. Poor by Real but Barca impressed again with a good 4-0 win.

samlcfc Posted 18 January 2010 Posted 18 January 2010 Don't think the team is European but didnt want to create a new topic. Does anyone know what club it is where the fans in the terraces run to the front when they score? Wanted to show my mate but forgot. Thanks

AjcW Posted 18 January 2010 Posted 18 January 2010 Weres Nath Gone . Anyway. Ive been watching a fair bit of Italian football lately and have been really, really impressed by Milan, seems as though they've got their act together. As for Inter, they seem to be going in the opposite direction, just scraping a draw at bari at the weekend. In spain, Bilbao continue to impress me, it was about time they got their acts together and made a push for a Europa League spot and they appear to have done that, Reals defensive errors appear to be creeping back into their game. Barca played some of the best football ive ever seen against Sevilla, even if sevilla were resting several players. Villareal were taken to pieces by Valencia, and not because Villareal played the game with 10 men, it was more down to the fact Valencia were faultless. Anyway, Barca Winter Champions, Valencia making a push for second and Bilbao impressing with a young talented team, spanish football set for an entertaining part 2010.
LCFC-ARAB Posted 18 January 2010 Posted 18 January 2010 I have just been on the inter milan website looking at ticket prices and they give a discounted rate to children between 7-14, fair emough people over 65, fair enough and to ALL women!! that me laugh!

Having been to an Inter game this makes a hell of alot of sense. Theres genuinely non there, unless you count the posh seats which set you back about 200 euros.
Mikey Posted 18 January 2010 Posted 18 January 2010 Ronaldinhos third at the weekend rolled back the years.

Thanks Loads of South American teams do that, Boca fans all surge towards the fences. Quality to watch.
AjcW Posted 18 January 2010 Posted 18 January 2010 Im guessing this is just Crystal Palace trying to bump his price up so they can eventually flog him to Man City but its an interesting story non the less. Crystal Palace Teen Victor Moses Keen On Barcelona SwitchPalace coach Warnock admits that the 19-year-old is likely to leave the club... By Paul Madden Jan 18, 2010 10:03:00 PM Crystal Palace teen sensation Victor Moses is keen on a move to Barcelona, according to Spanish publication Sport. The 19-year-old, who has been capped at various underage levels for England, looks certain to leave the club during the current transfer window as the Eagles seek to ease financial troubles. "When I saw that it said Barcelona ... Barcelona? Going to Spain? But I have to think of myself, and it is a great club. Whatever happens, I want to play in the elite," Moses is quoted as saying. Real Madrid, Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester City are all reported to be interested in signing the talented attacking midfielder and Palace coach Neil Warnock admitted that Moses has probably played his last game for the club after he scored the winner over Plymouth Argyle on Saturday. "It may have been his last game for us," acknowledged Warnock. It is understood that there are currently four bids worth in the region of €6 million on the table for Moses.
Edmund Posted 19 January 2010 Posted 19 January 2010 From the championship to Barcelona or Real Madrid. It's a no brainer. He's a good player with a lot of potential but I didn't realise he was world class. Fairplay if he ends up at one of the top clubs.
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 19 January 2010 Posted 19 January 2010 Obviously he's 'keen' on a move.
StanSP Posted 20 January 2010 Posted 20 January 2010 Colin Kazim Kazim moves to Toulouse from Fenerbache today. According to his twitter his move is now complete.
lildave3 Posted 20 January 2010 Posted 20 January 2010 Colin Kazim Kazim moves to Toulouse from Fenerbache today. According to his twitter his move is now complete. Yeah it is, 6 month loan initially. Personally, i'm disappointed But Fenerbahce fans on the whole seem to hate him Especially after the sending off/car crash nonsense. Really hope he comes back to the Premiership in the summer.
lildave3 Posted 20 January 2010 Posted 20 January 2010 Oh, and Olympiakos have got rid of Zico already
lildave3 Posted 23 January 2010 Posted 23 January 2010 Fenerbahce finally back in league action with a 3-1 win against Denizlispor on Friday. No goals until the 77th minute when Andre Santos bagged, then Deniz equalised on 82 But Ozer regained the lead 4 minutes from time and Guiza wrapped it up in stoppage time
