The season started really well, after 8 games I was top, winning 6 out of 8. But then my main source of goals. Lualua got injured and I have struggled to win, winning only 4 of my last 15. My last game was a win, Nacer Barazite scored a 93rd minute winner against Forest. Good news is, Lualua is almost fit. Including Lualua I have 10 players injured. Lualua, Mattock, Fryatt, Beattie, Adams, Bodde, Chris Porter, Zheng Zhi, Adam Hammill, Fabio Zamblera.

Posted 2 December 2008 Posted 2 December 2008 Well I'm still 4th after 24 games but I've just beaten top of the league Tranmere 1-0 thanks to a 94th minute Ashley Chambers winner and now the gap's only 3 points between me and top. Bagged Fabrice Fernandes on a free transfer 'n all. Good competition for just about every position in the team now.
Finnegan Posted 2 December 2008 Posted 2 December 2008 After some truly woeful performances (conceded 10 in 3 games ) I've turned the corner in a rather unusual way.I now go on holiday every game, and let Shakespeare pick the team & tactics, won every game since . Thats pointless. Yes and no. What you want to do is pay attention to what tactics Shakespeare is using, and what team he is selecting, and look to adapt your own around it. I've Holiday'd a few games I couldn't be fucked with (JPT and League Cup) and picked up a few handy bits and bobs from the CPU.

Mikey Posted 2 December 2008 Posted 2 December 2008 Since Lualua has come back I have won 2 games, 3-2 V Plymouth and 2-0 V Derby. But he got injured for 2 weeks against Deby. And then I've just played Derby again in the FA Cup 3rd Round and beat them 2-1.

I had 16 different nationalities with my Premiership winning Leicester squad on 08. Might go back on that, reclaim my crown from Man U

Its actually made a few other games work for me aswell and it still says my driver is well out of date which i cant be arsed to sort out now the game works.

I am seriously thinking of leaving, I am fed up with having no money, But the challenge of getting them even further still appeals to me. I can't even afford to keep some of my players, that is how bad the money situation has got. Cardiff are without a gaffer, I believe Leicester are on the verge of sacking Kenny Jackett after only 5 months, if the City job comes, I am taking it. If not and Cardiff require my services, I would find difficult to say no.
