JoeyB Posted 3 December 2008 Posted 3 December 2008 Let me know how you get on! I'm going to be badgering him from the second I get into the Championship. He's piped up with a few important goals. But him and Welbeck have had the same amount of games but Welbeck seems to score more. Head for him
Lovejoy Posted 3 December 2008 Posted 3 December 2008 Started managing the team again and won 9 in a row before a 3-3 draw at Watford. Sitting 3rd behind Ipswich and QPR.
GLC Posted 3 December 2008 Posted 3 December 2008 just signed mauro zarate on season long loan, and hulk from porto, only at pre-season stage in premier league,
DB11 Posted 3 December 2008 Author Posted 3 December 2008 I'm having more fun managing FoxesTalk than the Leicester one I had. No money with Leicester in Championship sucks
TrickyTrev Posted 3 December 2008 Posted 3 December 2008 Having done 2 seasons as leicester, promoted in the first and missing out in the play offs in the second, I am going to have to start again. At the back end of last season I had 9 first team players injured, and seemed to get 2 or 3 injuries per game. At the start of my 3rd season all of my 5 strikers are injured. It simply makes the game unplayable, you have to have a massive squad and none of your players ever reach their potential because they are always having 2-3 breaks from training. I have now installed the patch which apparently sorts this out. It's a pity because I think Daniel Sturridge and Marlon King would have fired me promotion if they could manage more than a few games together. Also going to have to play with a bigger database and more leagues open, sending scouts to Holland or France for 6 months and coming back with only 3 reports makes scouting a totally useless feature.

Joe. Posted 3 December 2008 Posted 3 December 2008 It's as tight as a duck's arse at the top of League One on my game.

Finnegan Posted 3 December 2008 Posted 3 December 2008 Er where did you get v9.1? The Sports Interactive site itself seems broken. Edit: Nevermind I think I've found a torrent for it on the site in a different place after pressing the Update button in game.
Mikey Posted 3 December 2008 Posted 3 December 2008 Just got knocked out the FA Cup, 1-0 against Villa. Agbonlahor. <_<
potter3 Posted 3 December 2008 Posted 3 December 2008 I think I just overpaid a bit for Gareth Bale on 08. £15million and Guilherme Only did it because Guilherme wanted to leave.
Finnegan Posted 3 December 2008 Posted 3 December 2008 Just got knocked out the FA Cup, 1-0 against Villa.Agbonlahor. <_< I have them next in the FA Cup! (Presuming I beat Northampton in the fourth round replay and they beat West Brom.) Lovejoy Posted 3 December 2008 Posted 3 December 2008 Hit a bad patch, drew against QPR and Hull. Ipswich still setting the pace.
Lovejoy Posted 3 December 2008 Posted 3 December 2008 Just been offered the Man City job . Said no of course .
Mikey Posted 3 December 2008 Posted 3 December 2008 This has most likely been said before. But when you download a patch, what folder do you put it in to make it work? Done it before but can't remember.

Finnegan Posted 3 December 2008 Posted 3 December 2008 Er. Has anyone actually read the patch notes? What's apparently different?

It was him or Traore for about 30 million, wanted a player that could play for another few years And they were the only team interested in Guilherme, two birds with 1 stone
Finnegan Posted 3 December 2008 Posted 3 December 2008 I've never, ever, EVER needed to spend that kind of money on FM. I once had an amazing save file, my best ever (in fact, my only ever with a "big" club) with Real Betis. I got bought out in my first season and in my second, third and fourth went on to do the Champions League / La Liga double three years running. And the most expensive player I bought, I think, was Christian Zaccardo for 12.5m.
Lovejoy Posted 3 December 2008 Posted 3 December 2008 Well y'all, here's my half-time table: So far so good .

In my 6 or 7 seasons at Leicester, I think I've spent a net total of about £80 million, worth it considering I won the Premiership twice I also feel like it's a waste if I don't spend my whole budget
Samilktray Posted 3 December 2008 Posted 3 December 2008 I might potentially get this tomorow if I trade in COD5 at CEX. If I get a 2nd hand copy from there will I have any problems with all the registering it bollocks?
Darkzzz_ Posted 3 December 2008 Posted 3 December 2008 Just started my third season and I am still with Diamonds, now in League 1. I still have no money, The board have even reduced my wage bill which is really backing me into a corner. I need to leave.

The guy could have installed it on 5 different computers already and so the code is now void.
