morris1234 Posted 5 December 2008 Posted 5 December 2008 just noticed the new and improved player interaction on this. its wicked how you can tell them to do different things, e.g. place your shots more, move into the channels or dont talk back to the officials! loving it! just had a 4-4 draw at home to morecombe with 4 of those goals being mistakes. danny hylton is kicking arse now with 5 in 3!

Beat Schalke and Dortmund so far. But I am going to have to phase the players out a lot of 30yr + players, no money as they signed a lot of players on bosmans and whatever. Made about £6m in January...Ono went to Bordeaux for £4m and swiftly brought in Robert Lewandowski from Lech at 1.5m. Need a centre-half though, we not the most attractive club, some fella from Mainz chose Hoff over us. Trying to sign more Germans as well. Extensive search of Croatia and Serbia as brought good result. Signed Vida from Zagreb, fans disapproved but he strokes the ball around like Scholes for me - only 19. Bought some fella from the Croatian Second Division for 12k, immediately sent him on loan, shall be interesting to see if he develops. Good tactics and not changing too much as brought rewards...I'm targeting 9th...all about developing the club for an assault on Europe in a couple of seasons time.

Phillips resigned from former club Cheltenham earlier in the season due to differences with the board. More on this to follow...

Grays I got taken over and the chairman gave me 2 and half mill and upgraded youth and training facilities, aswell as giving me a bigger wage budget.
