Followed by a 1-1 with Charlton, a 1-0 win over Swansea, and my heaviest defeat on the game so far, a 5-1 loss to Birmingham. I'm 7th still, can still come 2nd, one win could take me to 3rd. 2 games left. Final 2 games are Bristol City and Forest.
lildave3 Posted 5 December 2008 Posted 5 December 2008 FM 08 - Hyde United, 3 games in, hectic. Brought in with 8 games to go, sitting 21st and 8 points off safety. Not good. First game though against Blyth Spartans - won 3-0 Next match away at Vauxhall, losing 3-1 but the match finished 4-4. Now just played Boston at home and lost 5-4, was 4-2 down but levelled it at 4-4 before they won it in stoppage time Enjoying it so far, although I can't sign anyone without it getting cancelled, and I'll have to leave at the end of the season because i'm gonna get relegated. But Gareth Seddon is a hero, 8 goals in 3 games, including 2 hat tricks :w00t:

In the editor there is a button 'Free All Players' ; 'Free All People' ; 'Free All Non-Players' So it's as easy as that

Liverpool offered £25 million for Lassana Diarra 3 days before transfer window shut and my board stepped in with this to good to refuse bullshit. Didnt have enough time to get anyone else, i signed Defour in the window but no way near as good as Diarra tempted to leave and just sit with Jamaica wait for a job to arise.

I've had that happen to me before. "Too good to turn down!" - fuck off, I've got about an in-game hour to sign a replacement! Tossers. I hate those tiny little flaws in reality on Football Manager that are so itsy yet so obvious. The other is players refusing to come to you because you're a League One (or whatever) team when you're blatantly mathematically promoted and you're trying to sign them for next year. Stupid.
