JoeyB Posted 12 December 2008 Posted 12 December 2008 Help! Has anyone else had this problem! Every now and then during a match my laptop just restarts itself! This is becoming a pain (especially the fact i was 3-0 up as QPR at home to Preston) ive already resigned to the fact that i cant watch the game any more but even now when i make a sub it is doing it! Can anyone give me advice ?? much love x HAve you tried watching it as a 2D match and switching the 3D engine off?

Billy Sharp and Dave Mooney are a lethal strike partnership, I just hope they don't suffer any injuries because I've only got Gifton Noel-Williams and Steve Howard in reserve. Less than 10 minutes after posting this, Billy Sharp gets injured for a month. Time for Gifton to step up to the plate.

My team from last season has really been improved but i can't get a win in the league, im hanging around in 16th can score but concede sloppy goals. and when i need to score it's offside but clearly onside. i have tried changing my tactics and everything ARGH

Lost out on the signing of a French winger I'm pretty gutted about and the game keeps blocking my transfer of Porto DM "Pele" for 2m because he has a cunting injury that annoyingly he'll recover from just as the transfer window closes. Signed some quality, though, I think. I'll slap up a copy of my ins and outs on the first day of the season.

morris1234 Posted 12 December 2008 Posted 12 December 2008 7 strikers in my team now because of injury. i had marvin morgan, danny hylton and john grant all got injured for 1 month plus, brought in slusarski and jay simpson on loan, played 8 games each and did well, they then got injured, now brought in dean bowditch and tom craddock on loan, both injured for 2 weeks! taking the piss!

Finnegan Posted 12 December 2008 Posted 12 December 2008 I never watch offside replays unless the opposition has scored a genuinely amusingly offside goal against me and I watch it agan to shake my head. You can tell by the linesman's position the second a goal goes in if it's going to count. If it's offside I shrug it off and carry on.

Matt Posted 12 December 2008 Posted 12 December 2008 How do you players to 'blend into the squad'? I'm halfway through the season and some players are still not blended into the squad/team. It's not exactly doing any harm - i'm second in the league and the certain players are playing ok, just wondering if there is a way of getting this message to go away?

I'm not losing but not got the team playing to well either. I was the same in League One. I won the league by 20 points in March having dominated pretty much all season, only lost about two games and only drew a couple more. But I was playing butters ugly football. Lump it up to Steve Howard for Ashley Chambers to score, big man, quick man partnership. Even my super signings Baek Ji-Hoon, Juha Hakola and Choi Sung-Kook from the first season didn't really spring into life until the Championship. Once I took it up a league and had more confidence in my side I completely gutted my tactics. I strongly recommend everyone spend their money on Robert Lewandowski who scored 42 league goals for me in the Championship. I turned on the style. I can upload my tactics later if anyone wants them. It's very similar to the Finners tactics from FM07 to those of you who borrowed them then. You'll score a hell of a lot of goals but will concede a fair few too. But by God is it fun.

I offered him a new contract he turned it down, I offered him another one he turned it down, so i've left it, I have just had a bid from Smegson for 250k, but said I wanted over a million, and he said he wasn't interested, Now Kisnorbo has told me he understands he is under contract at Leicester but says no player should be kept at a club against their will. So I have offered him to Bolton for 500k. TBH I could do with losing so big contracts and getting some money in because the budget is ridiculous, How much has everyone got when they get promoted to the Championship? EDIT: Oh yeah, And my unbeaten streak (Not sure how many games it was but it was well over 20) has come to an end, Getting smashed by Bristol Rovers 5-0... Go 20 odd games unbeaten then get hammered, unbelievable.

Finnegan Posted 13 December 2008 Posted 13 December 2008 Kisnorbo refused to sign a new contract with me, I just waited it out. Didn't offer him to anyone or accept any offers. Nobody offered him a contract. About March I secured promotion and he was willing to sign on just a fairly normal contract. Think I'm paying him 13k with standard bonuses? Edit: just looking through the Rangers squad to try and pinch old favourite Stevie Naismith and noticed Nacho Novo's finishing. Go check it out.

In the Champ I managed to get a very ordinary team playing well, however you can't blag the Prem. I'm skint, got a very average squad made up predominantly of free transfers, and turned down the Chelsea and Sunderland jobs at the start of the season .

Him and Poggybank are a superb partnership with Bulgarian Markiev on the bench. 9th with 4 games left. Sort out the defence and bring in a defensive midfielder and Europe beckons.
