Is your patched version separate to the original?

If so, load up the orig and do the database there  .

It's not all it's cracked up to be, Premiership teams are signing players but in League 1 Yeovil have signed 1 player that's it not including my squad so all other teams are playing the youth sides they started with. :|

I just beat Hereford 13-0 :|

Maybe teams will sign some players nearer the transfer window. :S

Yeah I'm at Aug1 and my squad is pretty much sorted, but most other Prem clubs haven't got anyone yet  .

Threw away an 8 point lead  3 points behind Arsenal now and they have a much better goal difference..and they've won about 12 games in a row with their hardest game remaining probably being Bolton :|

I honestly don't know where to start with giving help to those of you who are struggling in League One.

I signed three players in my city side, Choi Sung-Kook, Baek Ji-Hoon and Juha Hakola (all for under a million, shipped out Campbell and Adams and the board gave me a bit more dosh) I then got Mark Randall in on loan, totally cleared off my wage bill, adopted a template formation, assumed hoof ball tactics, set Steve Howard as the target man and won the league in March by 20 points.

:dunno:

I'm not bad at FM but nor am I genius at it, Leicester's basic squad is just ridiculous in this league. Oh I forgot Ian Walker; Walker + the defence you start with = you won't concede. I conceded 20 less goals than Leeds who had the second best defence in the division.

Just... play common sense.

Didn't see that Arsenal still had to play Man City, City won 3-2  all I need to do is not lose on the final day and I win the league :D

Got Sheff Utd, my bogey team <_<

You don't need to sign anyone permanently. But obviously free signings like Legwinski, Idiakez and especially Soley might be useful. You can loan a host of excellent players: Murphy, Fowler, Randall, Merida, Darren Ward (> Ian Walker), Gibson, etc. etc.

Sure, but signing players early in the first season is the best way of making sure you've got good deals and quality players in place for the Championship.

I wasn't building my squad for the League One promotion driven, I was doing it for the second season. I'm media predicted 12th already and I've guaranteed my board a top half / playoff finish. I won't be sacked.

Released all player from there contracts like DB11 said, This is the squad i ended up with.

Went GB style, I did try a couple of NI players they went elsewhere.

It's madness everyone is trying to sign everybody.

Tottenham have Rooney, Cech, Robben and Dani Alves. lol

Messi is at Man Utd.

Is there any chance of you doing it again and then uploading the saved game somewhere? i.e. so that none of the players have moved yet.

Mine keeps crashing......

I'M THE FAMOUS WORKSOP TOWN.

Worksop, newly promoted from beyond the leagues, come up with no players and no manager. Sounds ace. Got to keep them up.

Beat Wigan in play-off semi final first leg at Wigan.

Ricardo Fuller scored first for them after 6 minutes. Then Craig Beattie equalised in the 91st minute with a simple tap in after Lualua had a shot saved. Then in the 98th minute, the 8th minute of stoppage time, Oded Gavish pounced to tap the ball in after Tunchevs header had been saved.

YES :D

Through to the final. 2-2 on the day, 4-3 on aggregate.

It was 2-0 to Wigan after 35 minutes Kapo and Fuller scoring. But Lualua scored in the 47th minute. And it looked like going to extra time, but then Ferrie Bodde went through on goal in the 91st minute to slot home. :D

In the stupidest game I've had to date, first game of the Championship season, from 1 - 4 in the first 25 minuts I go on to win 5 - 6 at Selhurst Park.

Suffice to say I was willing to throw my laptop out of the window if they equalized. Four defenders all ran in sub-6 ratings. Disgusting.

I had one of those with Leicester against Leeds in the demo version. Was losing 1-4 and went gung-ho with 40 minutes remaining. I ended up losing 6-5.

On another note, I've started a game with a friend where I'm Leicester. Played six league games, drawn them all!! Never ever tried that before..
