Meh, I only flogged him for 800k anyway.

Though.. when you consider I got Lewandowski for 1.1m that's not bad.

I had a look at him and he doesn't look anything special considering he's worth 1m. I only have £0 transfer budget anyway :whistle:

But I'm really liking this now as I am building a great team in Swindon :) :)

Bundesliga's top scorer with 16, out for two months though. Him and Poggybank are a superb partnership with Bulgarian Markiev on the bench.

9th with 4 games left. Sort out the defence and bring in a defensive midfielder and Europe beckons.

I play him alone with an AMC that's practically a striker running on behind and a high riding AML and AMR. I've just signed Ched Evans though so I might work on squeezing a second striker in for some games. I'd have to lose a central midfielder though somewhere so that might be tricky. The DMC, maybe, against weaker teams.

He's incredible, I promise you. Take a closer look - he's quick enough to be a lone striker (trust me), he's strong, can head, can finish, is composed, has good Off The Ball. He's got pretty much 15+ in everything you need from a striker and you can take my word on him improving with time, too. He's the best signing I've found on Football Manager and given I've turned a Korean nobody into a £25m hot property in eighteen months I think that's a fair claim. :P

Yes but I have £0 so maybe I will just keep him on a shortlist for the future when I have money

I've a really good squad at City, certainly for Championship Level (yet to see how it delivers in the Premiership, I have to be honest I think I've let myself down a bit in the summer) and he's the one player I'd not get rid of. I'd sell any of the others to be able to buy him. Even Tunch!

Tunch needs to learn a bit of discipline :angry: . Was in with a fighting chance at Anfield before he got his 2nd red of the season (he has 6 yellows too :rolleyes: ).

Krystian Pearce and Mark Beevers appearsto be my best CB pairing atm.

Hakola was a great signing. He looks like this for me now at the start of my third season:

In his best game last year he scored four goals for me in the 6 - 3 demolition of... erm, I can't remember. It was someone promotion chasing, I remember that. I've trained him up to play as AMC as well because I was a little thin on the ground there and have him learning Tries Killer Balls Often. Ignore his "Last Five Games" rating, that was just preseason with my assistant in charge.

I'd still rather Lewandowski, though. :thumbup:

Edit: I'm 1 - 3 up at Anfield in the 55th minute. Ryan Babel's just come on. What odds I manage to lose?

Very nice.

I've managed to nick a draw against all of the 'Big 4'. But lost to champions Arsenal 2nd tie round.

Signed 4 Hungarians in the first season, 2 for 50k, one for free and one for 5k. Sold one for 500k and now the others are worth 750k. :)

It was only my third game and I've been watching TV since. Will go back to it after I've done with Heroes on the iPlayer. Drew with Fulham on the opening day and beat WBA 3 - 0 in my second game.

We'll I have just entertained £15 million bids from Lyon for him and he's got the arse. I got Poggybank by chance - it's nice to keep an eye on the Russian league as the contracts run out at the end of December. My back-up was aging and the very over-rated Sestak was getting bids of £5 m +. Sold him and invested in both strikers (Makriev from ESTAC as well 16 finish, 16 dribble) - this allowed me to sell a left-back Pferzal too. Then I had about £6 million to spend yet no bleeding decent centre-half wants to come.

Started my 3rd season - having half of our stadium extended and renovated. So we have to play in Dortmund, our season tickets holders have doubled but once again it's proving difficult to attract quality to the club. Ignasevehich signed from CSKA for a cut-price 775k, Madlung from Wolfsburg swiftly followed for £2m and Maltritz departed from myself. Still very low on the ground - I am worried I'll have too many nationalities - tried investing in German youth. Two players would rather go Second Division 1860 than us; I did sign Holtby from Aachen, 19 and bought some Brazilian fella from Wolfsburg at left-back. A blind buy - he's scored twice in two games!!

Beat Leverkusen 3-1 on opening day; og, Poggybank and Brazilian Left-Back.

I'm hoping for a top 6 finish and a decent cup run thus raising our rep and attracting the players. If it's a frustating as hell season, I might look elsewhere as I have built up my manager rep by keeping them up twice. Hoffenheim become pure class on it! Carlos Eduardo is unstoppable on it.

Back on my 08 game, this lad came through the youth system at Leicester. I signed him two years ago for 4m and he's now a wonderkid.

Now the twat wants to leave. Valencia have offered 29m.
