Fox You Forest Posted 13 September 2009 Posted 13 September 2009 Twenty five minutes until the return of Mike Carlson. :w00t: The Bears and Devin Hester are always good entertainment too.
Smiffy Posted 14 September 2009 Posted 14 September 2009 Eagles 38 - 10 Panthers going into the last quarter.Quality. If John Fox doesn't realize soon that Jake Delhomme is never going to make the grade it will be some time before we make it back to the super bowl. He can have some excellent games, but when he plays bad he is absolute shite!
Guest Posted 15 September 2009 Posted 15 September 2009 Anyone else playing fantasy NFL? http://www.nfl.com/fantasy/free Need a few more teams for my league if anyone's up for it
Jordan Posted 16 September 2009 Posted 16 September 2009 http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=4476626 Well, he did screw up big time, but c'mon; don't bring a man's lawn into this.
Podge Posted 18 September 2009 Posted 18 September 2009 I'm gonna "support" Tampa Bay this season. You poor soul. You're in for a long season just like me the bucs have a lot of holes, although as a Tampa fan of 8 years i am very excited to get to watch them against the Pats at Wembley. :D
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 12 October 2009 Author Posted 12 October 2009 Another good win for the Eagles. 33-14 against Tampa Bay.
Fox You Forest Posted 12 October 2009 Posted 12 October 2009 Plenty of one sided games about tonight, I watched Atlanta v San Fran, the 49ers might as well have not turned up. Colts and Titans on Five now. The Bengals keep winning, I can't believe it. Looking forward to the highlights from the 6-3 thriller too.
Jordan Posted 13 October 2009 Posted 13 October 2009 The Giants have coasted through their early schedule. 5-0 with wins over Washington, Dallas, Tampa Bay, Kansas City and Oakland. Big Blue held the Bucs to 86 yards (71 of those came on one drive in late-4th quarter garbage time) and scored four touchdowns against the Raiders before conceding a first down. It gets a little tougher for them starting next Sunday, though... they've got New Orleans away and I think the Saints have scored, like, at least 239 points and gained over 2,100 yards in every game they've played so far. The rest of their run-in isn't all that much easier (except for Washington away, ha). Jets-Dolphins is about to kick off but I think I'm just gonna watch a little more hockey and baseball before going to bed early.
Ozwin Posted 13 October 2009 Posted 13 October 2009 I really want to get into watching NFL but there's so many teams and leagues to get my head around. Being an NBA fan doesn't help.
Fosse Boy Posted 24 October 2009 Posted 24 October 2009 Got offered a ticket to the Wembley game tomorrow, but can't really afford it. Apparently Tom Brady's been spouting some shit about English fans to one of the papers?
Jordan Posted 24 October 2009 Posted 24 October 2009 Got offered a ticket to the Wembley game tomorrow, but can't really afford it. Apparently Tom Brady's been spouting some shit about English fans to one of the papers? Only quasi-controversial thing I've heard/read from Brady this week has been about him not being too keen on playing too many games in the UK or even playing for an NFL team in London. He said it could be too tiring for the players and it might not be a wise financial move for the NFL. There's been a lot of chatter around the league recently about possibly adding more games in the UK or even adding a franchise in London (which relates to rumblings about expanding the league schedule to 17 or 18 regular season games and possibly adding a new franchise if the league puts a new team in the potential new Los Angeles-area stadium).
purpleronnie Posted 24 October 2009 Posted 24 October 2009 They shouldn't be playing a game over there.
TrickyTrev Posted 24 October 2009 Posted 24 October 2009 Off to Wembley tomorrow. Pretty excited and I hope that The Bucs' make a decent fight of it. Although it is likely to be one sided on the face of it, who would have thought that Oakland would have beaten the Eagles last week? Any given Sunday and all that.
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 24 October 2009 Author Posted 24 October 2009 Heard about this possible London franchise. As an English fan, I'm quite excited by it, but could understand any disapproval from an American point of view.

Fosse Boy Posted 25 October 2009 Posted 25 October 2009 Heard about this possible London franchise. As an English fan, I'm quite excited by it, but could understand any disapproval from an American point of view. Definitely. A London based Frachise would definielty be viable and generate loads of income but I certainly wouldn't want it to be at the expense of one of the current teams. That's MK ******' kinda policy...
Fox You Forest Posted 25 October 2009 Posted 25 October 2009 Guess it was too much to ask for Tampa Bay to be competitive.
Fosse Boy Posted 25 October 2009 Posted 25 October 2009 I could've sworn it was on BBC as well as Sky last year? That's a bummer...
Guest Posted 25 October 2009 Posted 25 October 2009 AWESOME to see it live, even if we were in the top tier. Largely one-sided as expected but some good football played at points and would love to see a London franchise (it was talked about in the programme too). Some quality Cheerleading too EDIT: Also, Calvin Harris is hands down the worst singer ever
samlcfc Posted 25 October 2009 Posted 25 October 2009 I could've sworn it was on BBC as well as Sky last year? That's a bummer... Its on bbc 2 a 12
Fox You Forest Posted 26 October 2009 Posted 26 October 2009 Giants on again!! It's about time some other teams got a look in.
Jordan Posted 26 October 2009 Posted 26 October 2009 Giants on again!! It's about time some other teams got a look in. I'm watching this now--their defense is looking a hell of a lot better than last week... but I'm only watching in between innings of the Yankees-Angels ALCS Game 6
Fox You Forest Posted 26 October 2009 Posted 26 October 2009 Feagles is having a 'mare. Lucks in tonight after a TD like that.
Jordan Posted 26 October 2009 Posted 26 October 2009 Jesus fooking Christ, Feagles... CAN WE HAVE ONE GOOD PUNT TODAY, PLEASE?
