Fox You Forest Posted 18 January 2009 Posted 18 January 2009 They're one point ahead now.25-24 Eagles. Go Cardinals!!! Great second half.
MC Prussian Posted 18 January 2009 Posted 18 January 2009 Great second half. They've done it. Congratulations to Arizona for making it to the final! Now they're probably facing these beauties:
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 19 January 2009 Author Posted 19 January 2009 Oh well, well done to the Cardinals I suppose. Least the Eagles made a decent fist of it. They'll get my support in the Superbowl, surely against the Steelers?
SOCCERROO FOX Posted 19 January 2009 Posted 19 January 2009 ...the New York Giants play in East Rutherford, New Jersey.Probably Rocca; Graham's quickly becoming a journeyman but he got a lot of attention when he came over to play for the Jets a few years ago. They're both decent but I'm not sure either of them could be considered among the league's best--certainly not in the same class as Darren Bennett was! The Aussie style of punting (with the nose of the ball pointed down) is slowly creeping its way into the game but the different shape of the American football will probably prevent that style from becoming the preferred choice of NFL punters. I heard Matt Briar another ex afl player goes all right aswell
Fox You Forest Posted 21 May 2009 Posted 21 May 2009 I see Michael Vick is out, He's has to serve his last two months at home and is only allowed out to work. He's gone from a $130 million contract with the Falcons to a Labourer earning $10 dollars an hour. Surely someone will take a punt on him.
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 21 May 2009 Author Posted 21 May 2009 Vick. Words fail me. I heard he was considering the Candian Football League.
Fox You Forest Posted 22 May 2009 Posted 22 May 2009 Vick. Words fail me.I heard he was considering the Candian Football League. Five have cut Baseball from their schedule because of cost cutting, I hope the NFL is still on Mike Carlson cracks me up. The Canadian League? I'd stay on the building site.

He does it to Jake Humphrey as well when the BBC get the Superbowl.

I watch it on Sky but if it was on Five I'd watch, The BBC just swan in with all there money and take it from five who show the whole season. Coombs is a clown but he's a hell of alot better than Jake Humphrey's. Favre may be coming out of retirement again (Vikings) it must be the NFL's equivalent of the Ronaldo to Madrid every summer.
Fox You Forest Posted 22 May 2009 Posted 22 May 2009 I thought Vick had a 5 year ban from the NFL. It said on the news his NFL career was in the balance so i took it as they hadn't decided yet.

Fox You Forest Posted 10 September 2009 Posted 10 September 2009 It's back tonight. :w00t: Pittsburgh v Tennessee on SKY.
StanSP Posted 10 September 2009 Posted 10 September 2009 It's back tonight. :w00t:Pittsburgh v Tennessee on SKY. Seems like yesterday I was up all night watching SuperBowl! And I heard that thye still haven't chosen the match to be played at Wembley this year?
Jonezy Posted 10 September 2009 Posted 10 September 2009 Yes its back! Go Pats!!!!!!! Have a good season y'all except Jets fans!
Samilktray Posted 10 September 2009 Posted 10 September 2009 Totally forgot who I picked as my team from playing on Madden...
dogadug Posted 10 September 2009 Posted 10 September 2009 can't wait - even though i don't actually support a team, its great to watch
TrickyTrev Posted 10 September 2009 Posted 10 September 2009 Looking forward to the new season. Is there enough interest for a foxestalk fantasy league? We can draft on nfl.com after week 1 I believe.
Jordan Posted 10 September 2009 Posted 10 September 2009 It kicks off tonight, wooooooooooo! And Titans vs. Steelers should be a good one. My optimism for the Giants is tempered by their inexperience at the WR positions and confusion shown by the defense in preseason. However, their young wideouts have loads of talent and they've got plenty of experience and depth in the D, so if this team clicks they can be very dangerous. They shouldn't aim any lower than the playoffs. ...but new season, new thread?
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 10 September 2009 Author Posted 10 September 2009 Not sure how to feel about Vick. Complete cockring, but immensely talented. Hopefully the final piece of the jigsaw for the Eagles, got a feeling this could be their season. It had better be their's anyway.
Fosse Boy Posted 11 September 2009 Posted 11 September 2009 Cheeeeeeeeeeeseheads! Cheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeseheads!
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 13 September 2009 Author Posted 13 September 2009 Eagles 38 - 10 Panthers going into the last quarter. Quality.
C-man Posted 13 September 2009 Posted 13 September 2009 Peterson's having a stormer. Great to see Favre in a Purple helmet. He oozes class and confidence, even at 89.
