Uncle Albert Posted 14 September 2008 Posted 14 September 2008 Why what did he do? All I seen was him tripping over then getting arrested which he also said, so how he deserves it ill never know. Also there are people on here that have known my dad for years and can back up that he is not that kind of person at all. Me and Tevez can vouch for this.
ibbosuk Posted 14 September 2008 Posted 14 September 2008 Oh dear. I'd usually get wound up over muppets like you, but your not even worth it. Pointless reply! Sit down and shut your mouth .....
Tilley Posted 14 September 2008 Posted 14 September 2008 Pointless reply! Sit down and shut your mouth ..... You are an idiot aswell. I stood for whole 90 minutes, & my health and safety was never in danger.
Matt Posted 14 September 2008 Posted 14 September 2008 They said at the station that it would be on my criminal record, bt on the back of my section 5 fine slip it says that if I pay the money then it will not be kept on record, so ill have to find out when I go to report it.Anyone knw the best place to go and make the report? Quorn is nearest but dont know if i can do it there. This has also killed my excitement about away games, its common knowledge you get treated badly at aways but if I get that treatmen at home games itll only get worse, as you say they will notice me now. Hmmmmmmmmm, Blackmail, isn't that illegal?
kyleolly Posted 14 September 2008 Posted 14 September 2008 why did you feel the need to stand up tilley could you not see
Tilley Posted 14 September 2008 Posted 14 September 2008 why did you feel the need to stand up tilley could you not see No actually, the guy in front of me was standing. But that is besides the point, I would choose to stand anyway. Standing creates a better atmosphere, alot better compared to everyone being sat down.
Tom smith Posted 14 September 2008 Posted 14 September 2008 I was in that group of leicester fans down that street yesterday.. Not with them but pushed in by the police. i ended up not being let out till we got to town ,when i did , i just carried on walking , but within 2 minutes of letting us go , the police our chasing me and my 3 mates and pinned us up a wall . Then this **** with a camera came out and filmed us and we had to give our name , address and date of birth. I asked them y they did this and they just replied " u was giving us the run around and so u cant get to millwall ". I mean im not a fooking holligan just in the wrong place at the wrong time
kyleolly Posted 14 September 2008 Posted 14 September 2008 well i manage to sit for most of the game and be vocal too but if you can only sing from a standing position thats fair enough
Tilley Posted 14 September 2008 Posted 14 September 2008 well i manage to sit for most of the game and be vocal too but if you can only sing from a standing position thats fair enough Good for you. I choose to stand, & have never been harmed, or harmed anyone in the process. You choose to sit. So don't have a pop at anyone who does stand, ok.
Zingari Posted 14 September 2008 Posted 14 September 2008 i'm fookin annoyed that i can't smoke in a non smoking arena
Tilley Posted 14 September 2008 Posted 14 September 2008 i'm fookin annoyed that i can't smoke in a non smoking arena Personally, as a non-smoker, & as someone who hates smoking, I think it is for the better. Maybe opening more of the turnstile doors at half-time would do the trick, smaller walk for smokers.
Floating Fox Posted 14 September 2008 Posted 14 September 2008 i'm fookin annoyed that i can't smoke in a non smoking arena You can, at half time. And smoking harms people. Standing doesn't.
Tilley Posted 14 September 2008 Posted 14 September 2008 You can, at half time. And smoking harms people. Standing doesn't.
Zingari Posted 14 September 2008 Posted 14 September 2008 You can, at half time. And smoking harms people. Standing doesn't. i wanna smoke during the match , i reckon its my right , i don't give a fook if it irritates anyone around me and i doubt if a bit a smoke in an outdoor area is going to kill anyone , there are far more noxious gases in the air walking to the stadium with all the diesel fumes from the coches and big knobs 4x4s , its just the fascist police state

If you can't go 45 minutes without a fag, then I would be worried.
Guest Posted 14 September 2008 Posted 14 September 2008 I am still fuming now. SirF has emailed a complaint directly to the Leics Police headquarters regarding his treatment. I am taking the matter up directly with the club (managed to speak to the CE immediately after the incident as he was sampling the atmosphere in L1. The treatment of our fans yesterday was unwarranted and OTT, and I can only imagine that what happened afterwards was designed to pander to a few egos. not being funny but if you shutup, sit down all game, watch the match the quietly go home, the police will not bother you.If you sing outside the ground it causes trouble(sometimes). The atmosphere was always going to be tense today, leicester and milwall both have a repuation therefore policing should be harsh. Normal fans shouldnt be effected by this but if you act like a cock then your asking for trouble. just my view. What a load of naive guff. well thats my point they dont know, but id always assume the worst. At the end of the day they are there for the trouble makers so cant be seen as a soft touch, avoid them and they do the same. im not a fan of the police either they are up for it as much as millwall/leicester hooligans. That's right, I am 5ft5, 8 and a half stone, and female. I'm going to do a lot of damage. Yea outside the ground they certainly did drop a bollock, Tubes off here took a right hammering off one of the coppers because his Dad was getting a beating. I am sure he will tell people about it tomorrow. I couldn't believe it when I saw it; I nearly went over but knew if I did I would end up being arrested for wilful obstruction. Tubes is a lovely lad, and you only had to look at his face to see that he wasn't a yob. The cumulation of events really did make me want to cry. ''Right then Ben you have two options, I release you now with an £80 fine and hopefully we never see each other againor you report whats happened leading to a trip to court, a banning order of 3 months to 3 years, a fine up to£1000 and your season ticket taken away from you'' to which I replied ''well it doesnt look like I have much choice does it so ill be on my way then'' to which I was told to wait patiently to be released, another hour passes 5 in total just sat in a cellwhen i was released to what the officer thought was good advice ''You have two options, carry on going around with these idiots and never see football again in your life or start behaving yourself and enjoy the football'' I was with my dad for ****s sake. I wanted to say something, but as I said above, it would have meant me getting arrested as well, but never ever accept a caution. As you have been arrested, you are still going to get a letter from Mr Barclay telling you that you have a three match ban (whatever you do, appeal it). Take the risk of going to court, also invest in a good solicitor. If you'd have taken this option, I would happily have given a character statement. I was in that group of leicester fans down that street yesterday.. Not with them but pushed in by the police. i ended up not being let out till we got to town ,when i did , i just carried on walking , but within 2 minutes of letting us go , the police our chasing me and my 3 mates and pinned us up a wall . I asked them y they did this and they just replied " u was giving us the run around and so u cant get to millwall ". I mean im not a fooking holligan just in the wrong place at the wrong time You don't have to tell them anything. Always ask what their authority is, and for what purposes they need the information for. well i manage to sit for most of the game and be vocal too but if you can only sing from a standing position thats fair enoughBully for you. I can go one better; I can sing and stand in a rather fetching vintage green and gold kit.
Zingari Posted 14 September 2008 Posted 14 September 2008 Right,Well to be honest, I wouldn't want to sit behind somebodys smoke, & would say something to them, because I think it is rude & just a tad selfish. If you can't go 45 minutes without a fag, then I would be worried. i was joking mate , i don't smoke , i'm trying to point out that there are rules that we all are expected to follow when we go into places such as sporting arenas whether we like them or not , dems de rules at the moment i'm merely trying to get over the point that some people get irritated just as much by selfish people standing in front of them as you would by someone smoking next to you i actually would love to see standing areas return ( and even smoking areas) but as it stands they are not allowed and we have to consider those around us that wish to be seated and those who don't smoke

I have a pregnant lady who sits behind me in L1, she chooses to stand, but if she needs to sit, because she is quite heavily pregnant then I will either move over, or sit on top of my chair. & me doing either these, means her view is not restricted, as I ask her. I am very respectful to people who choose to sit, & I wouldn't stand in front of someone who is sat down, but when the majority is standing, then so do I, as I am not of an annoyance to anybody. Standing areas would be great, but realistically, it is never going to happen.
Simi Posted 14 September 2008 Posted 14 September 2008 Fight it all the way Tubes, happens way to many times and people accept it. I've read so many similar cases on Standupsitdown and when these cases are fought, 9 times out of 10 you get let off. The bully boy tactics work a lot for them though and most are scared to fight them in court. Good luck mate, hope it works out for you.
Joe. Posted 14 September 2008 Posted 14 September 2008 Just read your story Tubes, and it's annoyed me, so I can't imagine how you're feeling right now. It's common knowledge the police love this sort of thing at football matches, and half the time it's their actions that make the situation much worse than it should be. I'd do whatever you can mate to get some sort of justice, its got to be worth a try at least.
Sparky Posted 14 September 2008 Posted 14 September 2008 All the best with this Tubes , was in a similar situation with a copper few years ago at Sheff Wed where i had done absolutly nothing who thought hed have a go at kicking fook out of me
Lovejoy Posted 14 September 2008 Posted 14 September 2008 we sit in N block as well......good init Tbh mate, I have to say I prefer L & K . I would of thrown you all out .....****in animals....Bad as those brainless Millwall scum!!!Seats are for sitting ....Case you did not know, Go and watch "Park Footall" if you want to stand.. Twat! You can, at half time. And smoking harms people. Standing doesn't. Well said that man!
LCFC123 Posted 14 September 2008 Posted 14 September 2008 what are the exact health and safety issues at football then? They are ridiculous! at hartlepool i was told and inflatable beach ball was against health and safety! after my old man was told we were ok to bring them in by the stewards at the gates im assuming those who don't stand at all attend very few games away from the walkers, i apologise if i'm wrong
Hullfox Posted 14 September 2008 Posted 14 September 2008 im assuming those who don't stand at all attend very few games away from the walkers, i apologise if i'm wrong Apology accepted. And as for that beach ball, it nearly had me eye out.
