CosbehFox Posted 16 January 2009 Posted 16 January 2009 Lost 5-2. Walking wounded, two best players injured after 8 minutes and then left with 5 players for a bit. Went 2-1 up and I missed a chance at 2-2, then fitness played it's part. I felt like I was about to have collapsed lung - can't complain - everybody tried their hardest, that's all you can ask for.

Were in division 3. Weve got a bunch of pansies who seem scared to get physiqual, only 2 of us including myself will commit and tickle our opponents. And on top of that I'm expected to get back and defend when i've proved when left to my own devices up front ill bag up. Im not pleased to be honest mate.

I feel for you. Your team sounds exactly like mine. Got a few players who need to strap a pair on, buy some Kings, and learn the basics before they think they're ROnaldo and don't need to defend. Literally me and one other who actually talk to eah other as well. Zero communication otherwise.

Literally me and one other who actually talk to eah other as well. Zero communication otherwise. Sounds similar, except im 1 of the ones who doesnt defend, but thats not the kind of player I am. Im our top scorer though, and im not afraid of getting stuck in and hurting them. Its just so frustrating when most of our players put up little or no fight going into challenges, and when they just go for goal, when they havent looked like scoring at all, and they have someone else in acres of space with a goal scoring chance. Pissed.
