Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 4 February 2009 Posted 4 February 2009 Sounds similar, except im 1 of the ones who doesnt defend, but thats not the kind of player I am.Im our top scorer though, and im not afraid of getting stuck in and hurting them. Its just so frustrating when most of our players put up little or no fight going into challenges, and when they just go for goal, when they havent looked like scoring at all, and they have someone else in acres of space with a goal scoring chance. Pissed. Exactly like my lot. Can't change my team though, all close mates.

Everyone loves the ones that get the arse. Team we played last night were all decent, apart from one Forest fan who kicked out a bit and starting barking at the ref.

I was really getting under their skin, the lot with them watching were telling a few of um to smack me, and I offered out 1 of their players but nothing came of it. I really do love it, cant wait to play them again.

And they were smoking weed aswell, god knows how they got away with that one down there. And the standard of refs down Goals is a right joke.

There's a couple that are okay, a couple of oldish, short, chubby blokes, but other than that some of them have right mouths on them. Especially the bald, skinny one. Absolute dick.

We've had 2 refs that have pretty much let the team playing against us bully us, which is partly the reason I think our team started retaliating last night, and the ref surprisingly didnt like it.

There's a couple that are okay, a couple of oldish, short, chubby blokes, but other than that some of them have right mouths on them. Especially the bald, skinny one. Absolute dick. The bald, skinny one is a twat. He full-time works down there - very chummy with the guys who have no social life apart from Goals and thugs. One week, the other team were short by a player - so he joined in! This was a league game! The young lad down there's a twat too and a couple of others. The best one is the older bald bloke and more chubby, shorter, Duffy. City fan to boot, very fair and clearly understands a footballer. Obiviously played the game.

There's another one, about the same size as him, but with a bit of hair, he's fair as well. Always says "good effort" after a game, used to be able to talk to him before the match as well.

He's the same age as yourself. Rather than trying to 'cheat us' like Goals did - Duffy asked if it was alright pre-match. Plays for Narborough and Littlethorpe on Sundays. Back in action tonight for the first time in three weeks. Super looking forward to it esp. with Howard me back!
