davieG Posted 19 September 2008 Posted 19 September 2008 Take Your Seats Posted on: Fri 19 Sep 2008 Leicester City fans travelling to the Leyton Orient game this weekend are reminded that they are required to sit in their allocated seat inside the Matchroom Stadium. The Foxes look set to be backed by over 2,600 supporters on the day. And fans can help to eliminate any confusion by talking up their positions within the ground in plenty of time ahead of the game. A City spokesman said: "There has been some confusion amongst supporters at away games this season. They are trying to take to their seats only to find they are already taken - and are therefore taking up other seats which creates a domino effect. The away area will be full on Saturday. If supporters can co-operate with one other then this will eliminate any potential problems. "If our fans are unable to locate their allocated seat then our advice to them is to contact the nearest steward." Tickets for the contest will be available at the Walkers Stadium ticket office until 4pm today (Friday).
Asha Posted 19 September 2008 Posted 19 September 2008 I got a message on a little piece of paper when buying the ticket aswell, telling me to sit in my designated seat.
purpleronnie Posted 19 September 2008 Posted 19 September 2008 I got a message on a little piece of paper when buying the ticket aswell, telling me to sit in my designated seat. Shouldnt be a problem with leicester fans.
Simi Posted 19 September 2008 Posted 19 September 2008 Shouldnt be a problem with leicester fans. Well it is, maybe if you'd witnessed a Leicester match this season you'd realise and that's why they've raised the issue.
Bert Posted 19 September 2008 Posted 19 September 2008 Well it is, maybe if you'd witnessed a Leicester match this season you'd realise and that's why they've raised the issue. Number one culprit ^^^
Simi Posted 19 September 2008 Posted 19 September 2008 Number one culprit ^^^ Most of the time the TO give me seats near the back row, but if not, then yes it is possible I have been a past offender.
Maybes Posted 19 September 2008 Author Posted 19 September 2008 Number one culprit ^^^ Are we going to be offending this weekend?
Daggers Posted 19 September 2008 Posted 19 September 2008 There has been some confusion amongst supporters at away games this season. Nothing to do with ground staff or the ticket office advising that seating has been unreserved then?
Corky Posted 19 September 2008 Posted 19 September 2008 Nothing to do with ground staff or the ticket office advising that seating has been unreserved then? Could you imagine the club admitting to their own incompetence or mistakes?
purpleronnie Posted 19 September 2008 Posted 19 September 2008 Well it is, maybe if you'd witnessed a Leicester match this season you'd realise and that's why they've raised the issue. er.... no Leyton Orient do this to all away fans. Not just them either.
Corky Posted 19 September 2008 Posted 19 September 2008 Unresevered seating anyone? Would be good in an ideal world but unfortunately that's what we don't live in.
Simi Posted 19 September 2008 Posted 19 September 2008 er.... no Leyton Orient do this to all away fans. Not just them either. That doesn't mean it's not going to be a problem does it...
Fosse Boy Posted 19 September 2008 Posted 19 September 2008 I'll be pretty annoyed if I end up in Row B for the whole game.
Guest Posted 19 September 2008 Posted 19 September 2008 Nothing to do with ground staff or the ticket office advising that seating has been unreserved then? Could you imagine the club admitting to their own incompetence or mistakes? The Stockport cock-up was the fault of a Stockport employee, and not anyone at City. er.... no Leyton Orient do this to all away fans. Not just them either. er.... no City's ticket office have come up with this idea and written and printed the message due to the problems seen at Stockport and Cheltenham.
Daggers Posted 19 September 2008 Posted 19 September 2008 The Stockport cock-up was the fault of a Stockport employee, and not anyone at City. But our TO was advising people that seats were unreserved...whoever cops flack here it was hardly our support who were to blame. I resent being told by the OS that I am confused about where to sit - especially by wankers who struggle to organise piss ups in breweries.
