I heard that they were planning this yesterday, aparantly the police were all over them last week and stopped their thugs from having a go. So a lot of them thought they would do the business at Orient.

Oh, and the City of London itself is the one square mile where the original city sprang from, whereas Greater London also contains the city of Westminster as well as all the other towns, villages and suburbs that London has annexed over time...

I know the Met plod stopped a lot of the well known Millwall "firm" from travelling to last weeks game, and I heard that they'd re-arranged something for yesterday...Don't know if that was it though?!

There was a huge turnout of Millwall up at Leicester but as always Police were on top and Leicester didn't seem game...for that sort of thing. That's the end of it.

If a firm of Millwall were to be bothered going to meet Leicester it would be just as easy to have it up the road with the scum in claret and blue.

So now that is clear, if there was trouble predicted between Millwall and Foxes fans that does explain the extra police which is the most I have seen around O's for years, also they seemed to expect more at the underground station for years because they had a side entrance open, the first time I have seen that for decades. Yet there were far less people going through Leyton underground station than on any weekday at rush hour - bizarre!

In the ground, I could not understand why those, presumably Foxes fans went on the pitch, as it seems not worth a banning for. Perhaps it was a great surprise that Leicester should take the lead?

Despite all the pressure from O's Leicester are a classer side but not well organaised in the way that Stockport were last week. I gather an ex O who refused a renewed contract last season, Gary Alexander, did for the Foxes last week. I reckon that unless Leicester get better organised a return to second div football will be a struggle this year, but thanks for giving O's crowd a boost, we need all the paying customers we can get before we turn into a housing estate!
