davieG Posted 22 September 2008 Posted 22 September 2008 Team of the week! Midfielder Andy King has been named in the Coca-Cola League One Team of the Week. The 19-year-old Welsh Under-21 international scored City's important third goal at Leyton Orient on Saturday and turned in a notable performance alongside Matt Oakley in the midfield engine room. It was King's second strike of the season after his earlier effort at Fulham in the Carling Cup. King has made nine appearances for the Foxes so far this term.
JakeShingler Posted 22 September 2008 Posted 22 September 2008 Glad to see a City player in the team.
davieG Posted 22 September 2008 Author Posted 22 September 2008 Thracian'll love this, haha. I'm steering clear of this thread hence the Let the battle commence

dandannieldanok Posted 22 September 2008 Posted 22 September 2008 Just goes to show that the people behind these decisions take more notice of the barest facts rather than actual good performances. Getting a goal shouldn't instantly mean a player has performed well.

Flynny Posted 22 September 2008 Posted 22 September 2008 These things are rarely any good. Nevermind.
Corky Posted 22 September 2008 Posted 22 September 2008 Judging by that team, it seems Leeds didn't miss Sheehan too much then.
ronnup Posted 22 September 2008 Posted 22 September 2008 16 year old wonder left back for leeds. Unlucky Sheehan.

Wezleylowski Posted 23 September 2008 Posted 23 September 2008 Well done Kingy. And whats the point in questioning the decision to put King in the team of the week? No matter how many of you agree he was shit, it wont change the bloke's mind that put him in it.

What's the point in anyone having an opinion on football? What's the point in anyone having an opinion at all? What's the point in anything? Where do you draw the line? If you take this attitude we might as well just close this site now. I have an opinion and not only will I express it, I'll ram it down your throat!
