Midfielder Andy King has been named in the Coca-Cola League One Team of the Week.

The 19-year-old Welsh Under-21 international scored City's important third goal at Leyton Orient on Saturday and turned in a notable performance alongside Matt Oakley in the midfield engine room.

It was King's second strike of the season after his earlier effort at Fulham in the Carling Cup.

King has made nine appearances for the Foxes so far this term.

Just goes to show that the people behind these decisions take more notice of the barest facts rather than actual good performances. Getting a goal shouldn't instantly mean a player has performed well.

Exactly.

Must be the reason why he's free in his trapped soul

Must be the reason why he's king of his castle

Must be a reason why he's making examples of you

maybe they thought he did a good job, after all it's all relative, perhaps the rest of the divisions midfielders weren't very good :dunno:

Well done Kingy. And whats the point in questioning the decision to put King in the team of the week? No matter how many of you agree he was shit, it wont change the bloke's mind that put him in it.

What's the point in anyone having an opinion on this matter?

What's the point in anyone having an opinion on football?

What's the point in anyone having an opinion at all?

What's the point in anything?

Where do you draw the line?

If you take this attitude we might as well just close this site now. I have an opinion and not only will I express it, I'll ram it down your throat!
