Finnegan Posted 14 October 2008 Posted 14 October 2008 The best team won and the best squad go to the tournament, so no complaints relating to England, really. I really believe that, bias aside, the tournament loses a little though - I think it's a crying shame we both couldn't go through, especially as we both won or groups. A massive opportunity lost for Wales and Welsh football but there's so, so much promise in the likes of Wiggins, Ramsey, Evans, Vokes, Church and co'. Really, really proud and genuinely excited for their futures.

Had Bolivia 2-2 at 14/1 and France 3-1 at 9/1 Just England 3-1 at 9/1 let me down. Well done to England though and I'll be in the pubs of Cardiff tomorrow celebrating a Welsh win against Germany

Finnegan Posted 15 October 2008 Posted 15 October 2008 He had a storming game against us. Perhaps, but the last two games he's been littered with mistakes. Hennessey's an absolute rock, sincerely rate him as one of the best prospects in the combined squads.
