She was absolutely awful. It was almost like Simon wanted to criticise but had second thoughts because she looked like she was going to explode if anybody said anything negative about her. She couldn't even sing in tune. At least Daniel sang in tune.

FilboFox Posted 9 November 2008 Posted 9 November 2008 I did think that... funny how Diana got to go through despite not singing and all her main rivals are falling each week... very suspicious. I remember a good few years back there was another singing competition and someone couldn't sing one week and she was very good but because she couldn't sing, she got kicked out... why did Diana get special treatment if she can't sing. It's not just the fact that she didn't sing because granted she probably would have made it through, but all those who would normally have voted for her, have voted for someone else, hence influencing the vote... Here's hoping that Alexandra wins the whole thing! But to be honest, this crazy voting by the public (rigging) means she could go next week! And as for Rachel, yes, she didn't sing in tune, it wasn't very good this week but the judges know what she is capable of and that's why they keep her in... and she was saved by the public because she was so upset and sang it with a lot of emotion... perhaps wrong... but I know that even though it was probably her worst performance, I still didn't think she would be in trouble because of the way she sang it...

Whilst I think she is the best technically in the competition, she has a big voice like Leona Lewis, and IMO that's what will stop her from winning it. As some one has said before, the competition is geared up for Diana to win because (I supose) she has the most unique voice.
