Didn't think it was as good as some people are making out, nonetheless a superb strike.

Tbh I think it was more luck than technique.

World class striker.

lol

Yeah, he outshone Eto'o and Drogba at the African Cup of Nations and scored 2 in the final so where does he stand? World Class or are Eto'o and Drogba average?

Every player has bad patches.

Hes nowhere near Eto'o' level, what a ridiculous thing to say.

So which part of the goal that makes up the majority according to you was the lucky part?

The leap in the air, the timing, the contact of the boot with the ball, The pace he hit the ball with, the direction he achieved. I'm genuinely interested to know because I assume he was really meaning to missing or only half hit and send it over the stand :dunno:

That was all luck though :P

He did well to step backwards and position himself correctly but when the ball hit his foot it could have gone anywhere.

And as soon as the ball hit his foot he 'fell over' backwards to make it look like a scissor kick type thing.

Well every time the ball hits the foot it could go anywhere, the secret is to make sure the foot hits the ball and if you're good enough and get the timing right then that's what makes you a cut above the average.

As for falling over backwards, when your horizontal and 3 feet off the the ground it's a bit difficult to avoid.

7 goals already this season ;) We will have to see, but I think he will turn out to be a very good player in the Premiership for years to come.

It's not THAT great...

Well it deserves a round of applause from me.
