Asha Posted 23 October 2008 Posted 23 October 2008 What are the words to the bit in the middle. We're the left side, we're the left side .............. I havn't a clue We're the left side over here.
SamL Posted 23 October 2008 Posted 23 October 2008 We're the left side over here. We're the right side...
norfolkfox222 Posted 23 October 2008 Posted 23 October 2008 Its a fooking shit song and a fooking embarressment in my honest opinion!
Rocket-Ron Posted 23 October 2008 Posted 23 October 2008 Its a fooking shit song and a fooking embarressment in my honest opinion! Even more so than the wave!
Rocky Dennis Posted 23 October 2008 Posted 23 October 2008 Its embarrasing, sounds pathetic. I applaud you all for having a go, but seriously it sounds shite.
sbfox Posted 23 October 2008 Posted 23 October 2008 It's good, when used properly. Yeah pretty much this. If we get allocated a corner with half our fans split up, then its alright (for a verse or two...) If we have one stand, its just a joke...
Simi Posted 23 October 2008 Posted 23 October 2008 Yeah pretty much this. If we get allocated a corner with half our fans split up, then its alright (for a verse or two...) If we have one stand, its just a joke... Correct.
Bluefoxtim Posted 23 October 2008 Posted 23 October 2008 About 10 people sing it in the cop, I sit to the left of the middle, but both the 'left side' and 'right side' is on my left...so it doesn't really work. Thought it worked well at Huddersfield though..
Sooper Steve's shin Posted 23 October 2008 Posted 23 October 2008 Pointless song when it's just a small group of youths singing as they do now. Now if we had the whole of the West Stand and the whole of the East Stand singing full volume, imagine that - "We're the West Stand....."
Asha Posted 23 October 2008 Posted 23 October 2008 Now if we had the whole of the West Stand and the whole of the East Stand singing full volume, imagine that - "We're the West Stand....." Nice idea, but there's more chance of me getting laid.
Alexikokopops Posted 23 October 2008 Posted 23 October 2008 Nice idea, but there's more chance of me getting laid. I can have a word with Tabou if you want...
Sods Posted 23 October 2008 Posted 23 October 2008 Pointless song when it's just a small group of youths singing as they do now. Now if we had the whole of the West Stand and the whole of the East Stand singing full volume, imagine that - "We're the West Stand....." Some people tried singing it in the Kop. I haven't shouted NO at a football game in a long time.
DB11 Posted 23 October 2008 Posted 23 October 2008 It doesn't sound very good when people are singing it, especially at the Walkers.
poynton blue Posted 23 October 2008 Posted 23 October 2008 When Arsenal did it at Highbury "Were North Bank the Noth Bank the North Bank highbury" "Were Clock End the Clock End the Clock End Highbury" It sounded good.... All this left side right side is all........bollox
davieG Posted 23 October 2008 Posted 23 October 2008 We could just sing We're the shit side instead of booing.
Guest Bilo Posted 23 October 2008 Posted 23 October 2008 Yeah pretty much this. If we get allocated a corner with half our fans split up, then its alright (for a verse or two...) If we have one stand, its just a joke... Agreed. The chant was at its' best at Cheltenham where we were divided between two stands. Rubbish when all the fans are in one stand.
Daggers Posted 23 October 2008 Posted 23 October 2008 This chant is one more nail in the coffin of football
sbfox Posted 23 October 2008 Posted 23 October 2008 Ah I dunno about that... When we come down to Bristol (in the fooking rain no doubt), there should be plenty of banter between the away fans sat in the covered stand and those braving the elements on the uncovered terracing. Last away match I saw there (Gillingham/Rovers) there was more banter between the Gills fans than there was between the Rovers and Gills. Should be a good 'un to bring out left/right side (for a few minutes!) NB: I absolutely love the Memorial Ground at Bristol, I do not apologise for my ravings about it. Its just nice being able to stand about 2 metres from the touchline...
leicesterseddon Posted 23 October 2008 Posted 23 October 2008 I feel embarrassed to be a leicester fan when i hear that song. and when CD starts.
