An old story, I couldn't give a toss about that anymore - I finally gave up on them the day Peter Jones turned into a duplicitous, lying cvnt. Foxes boss Nigel Pearson and assistant managers Craig Shakespeare and Steve Walsh took questions from the floor on the night - which ranged from training methods, team tactics and the club's scouting policy. The event lasted for an hour and a half - and entry was free to all those who attended. Former Premiership referee Peter Jones was the MC on the evening, Look out for future exclusive events for Season Ticket Holders at the Walkers Stadium

City's Football in the Community coaches together with Club Ambassadors The Birch and Ian Marshall, the Rt. Hon Keith Vaz MP and an Under-14s boy's team (Leicester United) are currently touring Goa and offering their expertise to the Goan FA, local coaches and young players. The Leicester India Football Link has been backed by the UK Government, English FA and Leicester City and has been welcomed wholeheartedly by the GFA, who is the governing football body in the scenic western-coastal state of India. In their first game on Wednesday, Leicester United went down 2-1 against a Goan XI at the Poirat Ground in Calangunte in front of over 100 spectators. In the intense heat, Mason Brown netted the visitors' consolation and MP Keith Vaz said: "The game was fantastic, I thoroughly enjoyed it as did the huge crowd who gathered to watch it. "It was a historic day and one which Goa will never forget. The Leicester boys played magnificently and I am very proud of them. "The result was not what mattered; it was the wonderful way in which the two teams bonded and the amazing welcome we received from the crowd." The Major of Calangunte added: "It was a terrific match and one that we will never forget it." As part of the Leicester initiative, one talented Goan teenager will be selected from the matches, for the Gary Lineker Football Scholarship. Meanwhile, the Scholarship will fund one player to travel to UK, stay in Leicester and train with the Youth Academy for a two-week period.
