Kilworthfox Posted 28 October 2008 Posted 28 October 2008 From The last edition of the Smerc In a bold move Leicester City Supporter groups have today lambasted the timing of Milan Mandaric's verbal attack on those who have booed the team in recent weeks due to the poor showing on the pitch. Recently the Blue Army have had to endure City dropping 6 points out of a possible 9 and have on mass verbally booed the side against Northampton on Saturday and Wallsall in last Tuesdays encounter which also ended in a disspointing draw. Griff Groanetta from the Leicester City Supporters Club said that Mandaric's timing was ill judged as the situation has been blown out of all proportion due to a less than satisfactory set of results and performances recently. Groanetta went on to suggest that with Forwards who can't hit a barn door, Midfielders who fail to tackle and Defenders who only have ideas to use the back pass it is unlikely that the fans will be flocking to the Walkers and leaving full of joy and enthusiasum for the product on show. In these hard times Mandaric could see Attendances dropping with these poor showings and his latest outburst is unlikely to get those fair weather fans into the stadium. A fellow high roller City fan Ian from the Fosse Truss said that "Mr Mandaric had shown a complete lack of affinity with the fans feelings with this outburst of frustrated nonsence". Attendances sored to well over 22,000 on Saturday for the drab showing againt local minnows Northampton Town, and with so many fans who payed as a one off to see this game, and got little in return will have no doubt a lack of enthusiasum for future glamour ties. The fans may not wish to get their hard earned cash out for such "entertainment" in future especially considering the world wide financial uncertain climate. The fans backlash remains in the balance, however it remains uncertain if Mr Mandaric will be at the game Vs Bristol Rovers due to the Fans possible angry reaction to the latest outburst.
Lovejoy Posted 28 October 2008 Posted 28 October 2008 I still fail too see how boo boys are of benefit to the team . I agree with Milan that they should fook off .
dandannieldanok Posted 28 October 2008 Posted 28 October 2008 I still fail too see how boo boys are of benefit to the team . I agree with Milan that they should fook off . Booing is not beneficial at all but is less harmful to this club than Milan Mandaric.
JoeyB Posted 28 October 2008 Posted 28 October 2008 I bet the tits who are complaining on the one who boo!
hairy Posted 28 October 2008 Posted 28 October 2008 What a stupid thing to do from both parties. Alienate each other, brilliant.
Daggers Posted 28 October 2008 Posted 28 October 2008 I think we should all just face up to the fact that this simply isn't working. This is a dreadful relationship - we all need new partners. I'm going to see if I can get a grope off FC St. Pauli
purpleronnie Posted 28 October 2008 Posted 28 October 2008 I love how people say booing isn't helpful, of course its not they arent trying to help they are expressing how the feel, I guess you cant do that anymore.
Daggers Posted 28 October 2008 Posted 28 October 2008 I love how people say booing isn't helpful, of course its not they arent trying to help they are expressing how the feel, I guess you cant do that anymore. Whatever happened to writing letters or using a telephone?
Koke Posted 28 October 2008 Posted 28 October 2008 Just like everyone else, Milan also have a right to voice his opinions. And his opinion on this issue is, shut the hell up you halfwits.
purpleronnie Posted 28 October 2008 Posted 28 October 2008 Whatever happened to writing letters or using a telephone? What happend to expressing yourself in the moment?
dandannieldanok Posted 28 October 2008 Posted 28 October 2008 Whatever happened to writing letters or using a telephone? That doesn't work with this club, as you well know having tried to get answers out of Peter Jones about the whole ST benefit subject. I don't like booing, but you can't deny it has caught the attention of the people behind the scenes.
mobi Posted 28 October 2008 Posted 28 October 2008 What a stupid thing to do from both parties. Alienate each other, brilliant. Totally agree mate. We are meant to be working with each other not against. IMO, like it or not Mandy is an important part in us mounting a challege to get in the top league. Both parties should use a little more sense to be honest.
Daggers Posted 28 October 2008 Posted 28 October 2008 What happend to expressing yourself in the moment? That's all people do in the 21st Century though, isn't it. Bitch and whine, petulant foot-stamping and blaming everyone else in the world for everything that goes wrong is what modern society has become. As soon as radio and television shows started encouraging every twat in the land to phone in with their opinion we became over-run by morons and their views. No prior thought, no logic or reason - just selfish outpourings. I think we have too much "expressing yourself in the moment", to be honest. That doesn't work with this club, as you well know having tried to get answers out of Peter Jones about the whole ST benefit subject. I don't like booing, but you can't deny it has caught the attention of the people behind the scenes. And effected a change on the day? Made the team more relaxed and/or confident for Saturday's home game? You are right, it caught people's attention - but that doesn't mean it will have a positive outcome does it?
Kilworthfox Posted 28 October 2008 Author Posted 28 October 2008 I used to like that programme that Noel Edmonds used to present on BBC1 where he set up celebrities and make them look silly! I can not remember the name of the segment of the show though!!!!!! Does anyone else remember?

Suffolk_fox Posted 28 October 2008 Posted 28 October 2008 I still fail too see how boo boys are of benefit to the team . I agree with Milan that they should fook off . I am in total agreement. In fact the boo boys are partly responsible for us being where we are!
davieG Posted 28 October 2008 Posted 28 October 2008 Has anyone actually read it properly Yes you have to feel sorry for Groanetta
Kilworthfox Posted 28 October 2008 Author Posted 28 October 2008 noel's house party and Gotcha! Davie how do people actually read my spoof post's and believe the content? :giggle: :giggle:
Steven Posted 28 October 2008 Posted 28 October 2008 Yes you have to feel sorry for Groanetta and Foss Truss.
Steven Posted 28 October 2008 Posted 28 October 2008 Davie how do people actually read my spoof post's and believe the content? :giggle: :giggle: I confess I had to read it twice and it was the Groanetta and Truss giveaways that suggested it was a spoof. Still is the piece in support of Milan or not?
davieG Posted 28 October 2008 Posted 28 October 2008 Davie how do people actually read my spoof post's and believe the content? Beats me - I'd guess that they only half read it and presumed the other half to be what you didn't say. Well something like that. I wonder if people are still trying to gain free entry with their ST
Kilworthfox Posted 28 October 2008 Author Posted 28 October 2008 I confess I had to read it twice and it was the Groanetta and Truss giveaways that suggested it was a spoof. Still is the piece in support of Milan or not? **** NO! Read into that
