Finnegan Posted 3 November 2008 Posted 3 November 2008 Least interesting year ever? Lewis Hamilton nailed on?
Ross-Kemp Posted 3 November 2008 Posted 3 November 2008 Least interesting year ever?Lewis Hamilton nailed on? Dead cert IMO.
Tevez Posted 3 November 2008 Posted 3 November 2008 Great shout bigman. Chris Hoy for me hasn't he been given an MBE aswell?
syston_fox Posted 3 November 2008 Posted 3 November 2008 Not nailed on at all.Olympians? Good shout that man! Could actually be the closest one for a few years! Comical that once again it almost certainly won't feature anyone from Rugby or Football.
Fox You Forest Posted 3 November 2008 Posted 3 November 2008 Chris Hoy would get my vote. Surely it's going to be Hamilton though.
Finnegan Posted 3 November 2008 Author Posted 3 November 2008 You think the general public care more about a cyclist from Jockland than an English Formula One superstar?
Tommeh Posted 3 November 2008 Posted 3 November 2008 wtf!! Will be one of the best in years in my opinion, will actually be a clebeation of winners not semi finalists/ challengers, Winners! All the olimpians, pembleton and hoy I'd expect to have a chance. Obviously Hamilton, fantastic achivement. Although I despise the guy Murrays been in great form, winning tournaments, and breaking into the top 5. Rooney, carrick, ferdinand, brown and scholes all played massive roles on united completing a great double. Poulter was the stand out European in the Ryder cup, who'd have said that a year ago? You can say Hamilton will be favourite, yes but the evening as a whole should be fantastic, a real celebration of winners in their respective sports.
Uncle Albert Posted 3 November 2008 Posted 3 November 2008 Lewis Hamilton should win it, Tubes will be rakeing it in if he does win it. Chris Hoy is a great shout and 'Super Joe' if he wins next weekend.
andyh1884 Posted 3 November 2008 Posted 3 November 2008 They should change the title of the award cos let's face it, recent winners have been lacking the very attribute the award is allegedly for. Of the last 5 winners, only Flintoff would fit the bill of Sports Personality of the Year Lewis Hamilton, for all his sporting achievements, has all the personality of a Yakult drink.

Zingari Posted 3 November 2008 Posted 3 November 2008 my votes for the one-legged black lesbian , waiting for a kidney transplant , who won bronze in the special olympics egg and spoon race
Webbo Posted 3 November 2008 Posted 3 November 2008 my votes for the one-legged black lesbian , waiting for a kidney transplant , who won bronze in the special olympics egg and spoon race No this is the Sports Personality of the Year, not the X Factor. PS Chris Hoy gets my vote and Andy Murray is in with a shout.
Tubes Posted 3 November 2008 Posted 3 November 2008 Lewis Hamilton should win it, Tubes will be rakeing it in if he does win it. Chris Hoy is a great shout and 'Super Joe' if he wins next weekend. Only ended up doing £20 because remembered the Olympics All 20 boys are at 2/1 though so £60 back if he gets it, took the odds hes now at 6/4. Lewis Hamilton 4/6 Rebecca Adlington 11/4 Chris Hoy 6/1 Joe Calzaghe 66/1 Andy Murray 66/1 Ben Ainslie 150/1 Nicole Cooke 150/1 Tom Daley 200/1 Victoria Pendleton 200/1 Rebecca Romero 200/1 David Haye 200/1 Lee Westwood 200/1 Phillips Idowu 200/1 Ricky Hatton 200/1 Amir Khan 200/1 Christine Ohuruogu 200/1 Ronnie O'Sullivan 200/1 Justin Rose 200/1 Luke Donald 200/1 Ian Poulter 200/1 Monty Panesar 200/1 Wayne Rooney 200/1 Frankie Dettori 200/1 Kevin Pietersen 200/1 Mark Cavendish 200/1 James Degale 200/1
isaidno Posted 3 November 2008 Posted 3 November 2008 I'm a big F1 fan but Rebecca Adlington deserves to win it
