This could get awfully confusing for some, so to clear things up:

the Daggers from Radio Leicester - read the thread title

I didn't know there was a Daggers on Radio Leicester. Hence my slight confusion.

I walked past Ian stringer and some other bloke on Sat when they were doing the pre match show.

Stringer had brown streaks in his hair and looked like a gay tramp.

Not impressed...

I have nothing else of note to say so im off.

I bid you all farewell!!!

Yeh but look at are club compared to theres.

I am disappointed that the half term(?) and obsessive (slightly disturbing) focus on Daggers...has stopped our resident grammar Nazi's from pointing out this abomination.

If you lived in Leics and listened to RL a lot you would have definitely known, I swear he presents practically every programme they have on. lol

Daggers is a former cricketer and, I think I read once, a Burnley fan. I have no idea why he is presenting a Leicester City phone-in.

Having played cricket with him, I can also confirm he's a grade A twat who spent half his time at Leicestershire concentrating on his media career and no on his cricket. Radio Leicester suck up to him big time though, clearly only hired him because of his 'celebrity' status.

At first I liked Stringer, after all he's better than Barber :giggle: . But the bloke talks far too much, it's as if he doesn't speak during the rest of the week and his voice works overtime on matchday  .

I'm confused - how can someone 'talk too much' on radio? I can't imagine a phone in show is one you'd play many records for - or do you want more comedy jingles?

He speaks very quickly and doesn't seem to draw breath at times, Dave Bassett style. And it was more about the match commentary anyway  .
